Beautiful crafts from acorns and cones. How to make animals from acorns. Easy crafts from acorns. Cozy panel made of natural material

Collecting various natural materials is one of the most favorite activities for children on an autumn walk. Cones, twigs, leaves and seeds of plants, chestnuts and, of course, acorns - everything goes into the children's piggy bank. And if you apply creative imagination and skillful hands to them, you can make cute crafts out of them. We have already talked about what crafts can be done with kids from autumn leaves, chestnuts and cones. And today we present you a master class on making crafts from acorns.

Acorns are usually harvested in September. Choose only hard, smooth fruits, without holes - otherwise insect larvae, traveling from acorn to acorn, will spoil all the stocks you have prepared. The more different acorns (round and oblong, large and small) you collect, the more varied your crafts will turn out. Don't forget to collect the acorn caps.

You should not put off making crafts from acorns indefinitely - after all, it is easier to make holes in fresh acorns - they crack less often and do not crumble. Acorns make very cute little men and animals.

Acorn horse

To make a horse, we need two oblong acorns of various sizes, it is desirable that a small acorn be “capped” on a branch. We will also need: plasticine, toothpicks, a bunch of grass and an awl.

Connect the horse's head (small acorn) to the body (large acorn). To do this, we will make a hole in a large acorn with a toothpick or an awl. Insert a branch of a small acorn into the resulting hole. You can fix it there with transparent glue (for example, supermoment). If your acorns have already lost their hats, connect the horse's head to their body with a piece of an ordinary toothpick, making two holes - one in each acorn.

Next, we will put our horse on its feet - for this, also with the help of an awl, we will make four holes from the bottom of the acorn-body. To make the legs, we used halves of toothpicks, but you can also take tree branches.

Now we will make eyes for our horse - for this we will first glue circles of white plasticine, and on top of them circles of black plasticine of a smaller diameter.

From the grass we will make a tail for our horse. To do this, we will collect 15-20 blades of grass in a bundle and connect them together at one end with plasticine, trim the free ends with scissors. Let's make a mane in the same way. We will fix them on the craft.

Our horse is ready! Save this craft until the New Year - because the upcoming 2014 will be the year of the horse, which means that this DIY acorn craft will be wonderful New Year's gift from the baby to the grandmother or other close relatives.

Man from acorns

Making a man out of acorns is very simple. To make the head, take a round acorn with a cap. If the cap flies off, fix it with plasticine. The body of the little man will be a large oblong acorn. We connect them with a small piece of a toothpick, having previously made the necessary holes in the acorns with an awl.

Let's make eyes and a mouth from plasticine. We will make the legs of a little man from the halves of toothpicks. For stability, glue them from below with superglue to the inverted acorn caps.

Add toothpick pens with plasticine "mittens". Our acorn man is ready.

Craft "dog"

To make a dog from acorns, we need: two oblong acorns, a toothpick, plasticine and a couple of maple seeds (helicopters).

Let's connect the dog's head and body with a piece of toothpick at a slight angle (as in the photo) - it is better to make the dog's muzzle from the sharp part of the acorn. From plasticine we blind the eyes, nose, paws and tail.

Let's make our dog's ears pendulous like a dachshund's. To do this, we will take the lionfish seeds of the maple and attach them with glue or plasticine.

Our acorn dog is ready.

Craft Bird from acorns

To make a bird, we need: two acorns, plasticine, several toothpicks, ash seeds and acorn caps.

We connect two acorns with a piece of toothpick, as in the photo. We will make the legs of the bird from the halves of toothpicks, gluing them for stability on the inverted "hats" of acorns.

From plasticine we will make eyes and a beak. We will make the bird's tail from ash seeds, for this we will collect them with a fan, as in the photo.

We fix the base of the fan with plasticine and glue the tail to our craft. Decorate the bird's head with a hat.

It remains for us to add wings - we will also make them from ash seeds. Our craft "bird" is ready.

Ant from acorns

To make this craft, we need: three acorns, one of which will be with a “hat”, toothpicks and plasticine.

Let's make a head from an acorn with a hat - for this we will stick plasticine eyes to our ant. We connect the acorns with the help of pieces of a toothpick, as shown in the photo.

Our ant will need six toothpick legs (about one-third of a toothpick long). Attach them to the bottom of the craft.

Our acorn ant is ready.

We will complement acorn crafts with elements of plasticine, felt, colored paper and cardboard. I will also show you a wreath of acorn hats and a mosaic painting. There will be many interesting works. A whole rainbow of ideas for kids.

Crafts for children Pony-unicorn Rainbow (Rainbow Pony) from the cartoon for girls.

Idea #1

decorative acorns

(glamor and chic)

The acorns themselves look very beautiful. Smooth heads, neat rough caps. The diminutiveness and almost jewelry elegance suggests the idea to really make acorns a precious decoration. Put a hat on a faceted bead in the shape of a crystal.

Children will love to glue the hats to the beads with hot glue from a glue gun. And small children can glue beads by putting a little plasticine on the bottom of the hat. Therefore, this type of work with acorns can be attributed to the section of crafts for children.

And if you have glass molding oven(now this is a fashionable hobby for housewives), then you can make elegant pendants out of acorns (screw a metal hook into the hat). Such crafts can be worn as pendants on a cord or chain. Or hang them on the window shimmering curtain from multi-colored lights in hats.

And if you do not have beads of the right size, you can turn the acorns themselves into beads. Cover them with paint, paint on the patterns with nail polish, cover with glitter varnish with sparkles, sprinkle with nail powder on top. Such beautiful crafts from acorns can decorate the interior, be part of the autumn composition on holiday table Or hanging on a Christmas tree.

Children love to smear with nail polish. Only it is inconvenient for them to do this on their tiny nails. But on large acorns it will be very interesting and fun. Patterns of bright stripes and dots are a great exercise for development fine motor skills children.

Marble stains on acorns. Instructions for crafts.

If in a bowl of water - drip different drops of colored varnish - each drop in the middle of the previous one. Then a circular rainbow will appear on the surface of the water (in the form of circles). Gently dip the head of an acorn into this rainbow. It turns out beautiful rainbow stripes.

And if you move a toothpick back and forth along the surface of the water with a rainbow, then we will get a broken pattern of multi-colored figures. And in this patterned layer we also dip acorns. We get a different color of the acorn in bright geometric shapes.

You can imagine and invent your own craft acorn design.

Decorate it in the style of a watermelon slice, juicy strawberries. Or draw valentine hearts, spots like on fly agarics.

And in acorn hats you can insert metal bells. If you hang them on a window or doorway, they will tinkle merrily. With such acorns-bells you can decorate autumn crafts-pendants (panels, wreaths).

Idea #2

Crafts from hats of acorns.

Here's an idea for creative ways to use acorn hats. Under the oak there are always a lot of acorns and separate hats from them. In one hour, you can collect a large box. Therefore, if you have collected a lot of such ornamental material, then you can aim at a large-scale craft.

For example, do something like this wreath-pendant of acorn hats. We buy a base for a wreath in a craft store - foam ring. We buy there hot glue gun(it is not expensive) And for 1-2 hours we took up interesting business. Children can be happy to help you.

Also on a sheet of paper, you can print a black silhouette of any image (for example, squirrels, photo below). You can find a great variety of silhouettes in Google if you ask in the search bar (black silhouette + the name of what you need).

And then on hot glue glue all over the silhouette mosaic of acorn caps. Very fast and beautiful picture is obtained. We attach the sheet to cardboard - glue it double sided tape(liquid glue is not needed, it will soak the drawing, so we glue it dry, with tape).

And we carry this thick cardboard to the baguette workshop where you will create a beautiful frame for your masterpiece. And everything is ready DIY gift from natural materials. Fast, inexpensive, beautiful - and unique. The main thing is to know what the person you are preparing a surprise for loves - someone collects cars (give the silhouette of an elite car), someone collects owls (give him the silhouette of an owl).

From the remnants of hats from acorns, you can make a craft-pendant on Christmas tree. In each hat, drill (or pierce with an awl) a hole and string it on a wire, decorate with beads, a bright ribbon, glue a rhinestone or drip nail polish. And new craft from acorns is ready. Suitable for younger children school age.

And from the most beautiful even hats from acorns you can make jewelry set - earrings, ring and pendant. For this…

  • We cover the inside of the hat with shiny nail polish.
  • We cover the top of the hat with a transparent gloss varnish.
  • Drill a hole in the side of the hat.
  • We put it in jewelry long carnation with a bead on it.
  • And we twist the upper part of the carnation with round-nose pliers into the eye-hook.

Gets a pendant. By the same principle we make earrings and a ring. Blanks for earrings and rings are sold in craft stores, where there are beads and other materials for jewelry with your own hands.

Idea #3

Crafts from acorns

In the form of insects.

Acorns, in their oblong shape and smooth glossy surface, are very similar to the body of a pot-bellied beetle. Therefore, the acorn itself begs to first handicrafts from it were in the form of beetles. All we need is smooth birch twigs, we break off the branches in the place where they have a natural bend. This is necessary so that our legs of the bugs also have bends (in the knee, if the bugs have knees).

acorn caps can become the bulging eyes of a fat fly. A wing can be made from maple seeds.

Small fruits of unripe acorns or berries can become the horns of a beetle made from two acorns (on the left photo below). Two acorns are attached to each other and a match - on one side of the match we put one acorn, on the other hand we prick the second. So that they do not slip off the match, you can grease the docking of two acorns with glue.

If children make insect crafts, then it will not be safe for them to work with a sharp awl (pierce holes). Therefore, when making crafts from acorns with children, we will do all the fasteners on plasticine. You can immediately put plasticine layers under the acorns. And lay the whole composition, press it into these plasticine substrates.

Idea #4

Crafts from acorns

Birds and chicks.

But crafts in the form of birds on a branch. You can make cute round little sparrows with lively eyes with your children. Colored wings and nose can be cut out of colored paper, soft felt or molded from plasticine.

From the same dense felt, you can cut a twig with leaves - put acorns-birds on the glue and it will turn out beautiful craft for children from acorns. Simple and fast.

Idea #5

Crafts from acorns

in the form of a white.

The pointed shape of the acorn fruit is very similar to the pointed muzzle of a squirrel or a hare. Therefore, very similar squirrels are obtained from acorns.

A fluffy tail of a squirrel can be made from a cone, a bunch of feathers from a pillow (painted with watercolors in the desired color). Or tails can be made from shaggy wire(fluffy brushes).

Idea #6

Crafts from acorns

Lovely dogs.

Long oval shapes acorns are suitable for dachshund crafts (this dog also has a long body). From plasticine, add the missing details - ears, tail, paws, nose and eyes. This is a ready-made craft made of acorns for classes in kindergarten - in the middle and older groups.

Dog legs can be made from acorn hats, ears can also be made from pieces of a hat or oak bark. The dog's body can be from chestnut, from a round dense cone. You can make a bright orange peel collar for your dog. The eyes of the dog can be painted with white nail polish, and until the varnish has dried, put a black bead or a small seed from the plant in the center.

You can make high legs for a dog out of matches or sticks.

Idea #7

Artiodactyls from acorns

(horses, calves, sheep, etc.)

Acorns and chestnuts make cute horses or girls' favorite Rainbow Ponies (the first picture in this article). A horse's mane can be made from fluffy threads, craft feathers, fluffy wire. With a sharp knife in the body of the acorn, make a longitudinal incision (on the back of the horse's head) - with the sharp side of the stack, put pieces of thread into this incision, you can drop glue there so that they get stuck more tightly in the gap.

Hooves for a horse are hats from small acorns, or small acorn fruits themselves, cut in half.

By the same principle, you can make from acorns and chestnuts deer or elk. Branching horns from branches from trees, hooves - hats from acorns. The body is drawn together by two large chestnuts.

You can also make a great kids donkey craft out of acorns. Peanut muzzle. Ears from alder seeds.

Between the cap and the acorn fruit itself, you can insert an interlayer of paper or felt, or packaging polyethylene- in the form of two hanging ears, then we get the muzzle of a lamb. Matches with black heads will serve as hooves for the lamb.

And also the stomach body of a sheep can be coat with glue and cover with cotton wool, or finely chopped woolen threads - it will turn out very realistic. Craft sheep made of acorns with real wool.

Easy craft for kindergarten, just need in advance with an awl, pierce 4 holes in the body of a lamb, where children can insert matches-legs. Ears they can mold from plasticine. Or ears can become watermelon pits- if they are also pressed onto plasticine. Eyes are molded from white and black plasticine. Better yet, the whites of the eyes are made of plasticine - and press into them black beads(this will be more accurate). Because it is difficult for children to make a small black bead - they usually make black pupils that cover the white round eyes, and the craft looks sloppy.

Ears can be cut from white felt, or packaging polystyrene foam(such pads that are inserted into shoes, or they wrap technical devices in parcels)

And now the promised miracle.

Crafts from acorns.

Or something more?

Walking around the Internet, I came across a wonderful Czech site, the owner of which has a wonderful acorn hobby. Day after day, he creates a whole world inhabited by acorn men - dubans (as they are called on the site). But in translation into Russian, I would like to call them affectionately - DUBANCHIKI.

This is what a typical inhabitant of the Oak Country looks like.

Dubanchiki are bold and inquisitive.

We do not always notice them among the foliage and moss, but they see us ...

Sometimes they are right next to us...

Yes ... they are the ones to blame for the fact that we cannot find a second sock or count the eggs in the refrigerator.

And it's not our children who ate all the sweets yesterday without permission, for which they were deprived of cartoons.

Dubanchiki are kind. They take care of our little brothers...

And about each other...

They love the same thing as us...

They lead an active lifestyle.

I celebrate the same holidays as we do...

Dubanchiki are ready to learn new things and conquer the unknown...

Following their dream, they go to the ends of the world.

And when they get lost, they ask the carrier pigeons for directions.

They find their love... and their future.

They will find love in your heart too.

Official site of oak men – http://dubanci.cz

And this is the owner of the site. His name is Peter. He is a designer, photographer, freelancer. Who came up with a beautiful hobby. And then he figured out how to make money out of it. A great example for our people. To do business from what is poured for free underfoot in the grass.

What can you do on the site http://dubanci.cz

There you can buy a lot of things with the symbols of acorn crafts.

  • Order Book with full assembly stories of the inhabitants of the Oak Forest(although it is in Czech, but the children may not know this, and you can smartly “read it to them” inventing your own plot that fits the picture).
  • Buy T-shirts, bags with prints of acorn men.
  • Buy card game for kids with Dubanchiks.
  • Order office calendars with the image of Dubanchikov.
  • Also you can buy set of postcards with tans (the reverse side of the postcard contains a place for a stamp, and lines for signing the address, index - and all this is lined with thin oak branches. That is, the design is original in everything.

A beautiful project. Soulful and kind. We really don't have enough of those.

Love living. Love life. And be able to see life in everything that surrounds us.

The world is filled with magic when touched magic hands creator. Create. Create worlds. Create a miracle.

Who knows, maybe your acorn crafts will also become something big in your life.

Children love to make quite realistic little men, gobies, horses, and even a large “deer” beetle from acorns.

The head is fastened with a short bead stick. You can cover the junction with a colored strip of felt or a knitted scarf.

Little people will need a tiny dish. Acorns will come to the rescue again. Miniature saw cuts will become coasters. Inverted acorn caps - plates. They are the same, but with a handle made of a strip of bark glued to the side - elegant cups. An acorn with a hat, a stick nose, a handle made of bark or birch bark - a small teapot.

"Cone Acorn"

Crafts from cones and acorns - another masterpiece! Of the two extended pine cones, one acorn without a hat, four straight and two branched sticks can make a wonderful deer.

One round, open cone, one acorn with a hat, four short sticks - a pretty sheep.

For the little ones

Crafts from acorns and plasticine are what you need for beginner "needleworkers". Such people don’t even need the Internet for inspiration - only natural material and their own imagination!

This is just a drop from the sea of ideas of "acorn" creativity. Some fans in all seriousness create entire creative collections based on this material. It is best to separate the caps from the acorns either with your hands or with a thin knife. When doing this, always try not to damage the hats, as most often we will glue them back. By the way, chestnuts can also be used instead of acorns, but working with them is still not so convenient.

Decorations

Women's acorn jewelry (earrings, pendants, pendants) looks original and very beautiful. Try to make something similar with your own hands - you will definitely receive a lot of compliments in your address.

First you need to remove the cap from the acorn and free it from the insides. Dry everything well. To attach it back, and at the same time make holes in the cap for the ring for accessories, you need to make two holes. It is best to use an awl. You can insert a regular thread or wire, as well as carnations (then you need one hole) or a loop.

It is best to paint acorns with acrylic paints. Put it on a pencil or whatever and get started. If you have thin brushes, you can make a real masterpiece out of an acorn with your own hands.

No acrylic? Use nail polish. And if you need to paint a large amount of material at once, then it is best to take an aerosol can.

When everything is dry, apply a dab of glue to the inside of the acorn lid and stick it back together.

By the way, in the absence of any paints, you can completely replace the shell with a beautiful bead. This will also look spectacular.

You just have to collect all the acorns on a chain, hooks or thread - your unique decoration is ready!

And if you don’t feel like messing around at all, then just free the acorns from the hats, and then pierce each one through. Collect them on a thread, alternating with beads, or just press them tightly against each other. So you get a great homemade bracelet that you don’t even need to paint.

Dinnerware set

If you have children, be sure to repeat this master class on making crafts from acorns with them. Any little girl who loves to play with dolls will love this set of dishes. Yes, and boys preschool age it will be interesting to “give tea” to your toys.

Let's make a teapot, a vase and two cups. For this we need only four acorns. Of course, you can collect a whole service. We also need to take superglue and a small piece of a branch.

We remove the hat from the first acorn and attach a twig to it, pointed at both ends - this is how we will make the spout. We bend the second part of the branch with the letter “C” and glue it on superglue to the body of the acorn on the other side. We will not glue the lid back - we need to “pour water” into our toy teapot.

To make cups from acorns, we need to take only their tops. We cut out the coasters from the branch, sawing off a thin flat “washer” from them. We glue the birch bark handles - as well as to the teapot.

For a stand for a toy vase, in this case, a part of a straightened dry cone is used. The vase itself is made from the lid of an acorn. We connect them with glue.

That's all - it remains only to collect everything in one place and arrange a puppet tea ceremony!

Frame

With the help of acorn caps, you can create unique frames with your own hands. It's very simple, but keep in mind that you will need quite a lot of material.

You can make a photo frame, a picture, a mirror or something else. The most important thing is to have a base (plastic, wood, fabric or any other).

Separate the hats and try them on the base. If you want to lay out a pattern, you need to paint them in advance. If, according to your idea, your craft should be monophonic, then paint after placing the hats on the base. However, you can leave them in their original state, as they look beautiful.

It will be more convenient to pour glue on a flat surface, and take each acorn by the tail with your hands or tweezers, dip, and then press it firmly to the surface. If you do not plan to paint the entire product, then immediately clean the excess glue with a cloth.

The most beautiful look frames that are completely filled with acorn hats, without gaps. If you do not have much material, then lay them out in a snake, in the shape of a flower, in a checkerboard pattern, or something else. The main thing is that the pattern can be traced clearly.

Toys for kids

Together with your children, you can make a funny mini-zoo or other toys out of acorns. All the materials here are very simple, and you will spend only 10-15 minutes on it. Take a look at the suggested craft ideas. Perhaps you can immediately repeat them or come up with something of your own.

Some of the acorns need to be disassembled and cut. To make the head of a small person or animal, as well as small parts of the body, we cut them across. To make "boots", a false belly, a body for an insect - we cut acorns along.

Make holes if necessary with an awl. You can fasten the parts together with matches or toothpicks. It is also convenient to take small twigs if you can sharpen them at both ends.

There are two mounting options in such crafts. If you are making them with a school-age child (especially if this is a craft for school), it is best to hold the acorns together with glue. You make such animals and men in Kindergarten? Then fasten the materials with plasticine.

Don't forget to use acorn caps - you can make a lot of interesting details with them!

If you need to make faces, use plasticine, ready-made plastic eyes, beads or matches. All this can also be put on glue or plasticine.

By the way, cones can be safely added to children's crafts from acorns.

Feel free to combine ideas and create something unusual. Add leaves, berries or any other natural materials to crafts - it will turn out very beautiful.

For the smallest, applications with leaves and acorns are suitable.

Take a thick cardboard, glue one or two acorns on it. Then pick bright leaves to make wings and seeds for the butterfly's eyes.

In the same way, you can collect other animals, and then arrange them in a postcard or a picture.

Compositions for home

Acorns are a unique natural material, crafts from which do not require special costs, including time. You just need to go out into the park and collect a few dozen of these “squirrel nuts” under a tree in order to decorate your house with something unusual later.

The acorns themselves are very cute, so you can even just place them in a large glass vase - it will already be beautiful.

A good option is to do it yourself simple autumn composition using acorns, nuts and candles.

Take a wide dish. Put nuts and chestnuts on it in random order. On chestnuts, cones or hazelnuts, stick acorn caps and a few pieces of felt. Add toy eyes - you get funny owlets. Just remember that for such a composition you can use only those candles that are in a glass. Otherwise, it's unsafe.

Another popular acorn craft is the topiary.

If you use a special soft blank for the base or foam ball, then first make holes in the acorns and insert the wire or matches. Also, the material can simply be glued with superglue or even gently planted on plasticine.

By the way, blanks for topiary in combination with acorn caps can be used to make very beautiful toys for the New Year.

Cover the finished craft with sparkles from a balloon, tie on top satin ribbon. Also, the lids can be pre-coated with beautiful metallic acrylic paints or ordinary varnish glitter nails. They can be attached with wire or glue.

If you have a lot of acorns, you can even make a large basket out of them with your own hands.

As a basis, you can take the old plastic basket or even an ordinary plastic five-liter bottle. Glue the acorns on with superglue. Fill the inside of the basket with padding polyester or dry grass. Place cones, berries or artificial fruits on top.

We hope these ideas inspire you and get you creative. If you have already gone for acorns, then remember that you may need "nuts" different sizes. If you have children, be sure to take them to the collection of suitable natural materials with you. Collect cones along the way, beautiful leaves and twigs - they can also be useful for autumn crafts and creating interesting compositions.
