The art of creating figures and shapes out of paper is called origami. This work has been known since ancient times, it is very popular today. Even if you have never done this business before, you will be able to make a simple paper slide, it is very interesting and exciting.

To keep the lines neat and precise, iron them with a ruler several times. Take a square piece of colored or white paper and cut it exactly in half. Work will happen only with one part of it. Fold the working part in half lengthwise, and then again lengthwise and in half. We get a long narrow strip. Let's turn it one turn and straighten it well.

Now fold it in half wide. Next, fold the edges of the paper one third, iron several times and return them to their original position. Then bend the corners of the paper at the transverse fold in the form of triangles, while you will open the double edges of the leaflet.

When wondering how to make a paper slide neatly and beautifully, you need to pay attention once again to the fact that the folds must be carefully ironed. Without forgetting all these tips, we continue to form a paper slide, lay out our slide in length and turn it over with the other side towards us.

Now we bend the edges of the wide part a third inward, we get a narrow strip of the same width. The part with the sides along the edges is the slope of the paper slide, and from the other part we fold the ladder. That is, we bend the part without sides with an accordion. We straighten the accordion ladder, fix the corner of the slide. That's it, the paper slide is ready.

This is such a miracle in a matter of minutes, easy and simple. It is useful to teach children this sacrament of origami, it will seem to them a real magical miracle trick, interesting and exciting. And such exercises significantly improve fine motor skills, logic, attentiveness, develop analytical thinking, perseverance, instill accuracy and accuracy, enhance mental and creative activity.

It is better to start with simple figures and shapes, gradually mastering more complex shapes and paper compositions. You can make for a child or teach him to make figures on his own, and then play them together. To a paper slide, you can make paper men, animals, cars, and so on.

For children, this is a whole fascinating world created by with my own hands. And adults in creative process forget about their problems and stress. Subsequently, you can learn how to work with glue and scissors, fastening several figures into one large part, making cuts so that the figure looks more voluminous and spectacular.

Below are a few photos of an alpine slide, the design of which differs in many ways. Scheme for creating a slide It is not difficult to make a beautiful rock garden with your own hands, but in order for it to retain its beauty for many years, you must follow the advice of experienced landscape designers: many mistakes and correct the shortcomings on paper, and not on the finished flower garden. The height of the rock garden can reach 1.5 m.

Be sure to add soil between the stones where the plants will be planted. The remains should be removed and masked with small pebbles or other elements. For a long time I want to decorate the site with an alpine slide. There is only one solution to the problem: urgently plant small-bulbous ones on the territory of the hill, which will endow the entire territory with beautiful flowering, and cheer you up. This means dividing the territory of the rock garden into "plateau", "valley", "tops" and "cliffs". It will turn out not a work of landscape art, but an ordinary dump. For the manufacture of a drainage system in a selected area, a drawing of the future composition is marked with pegs and ropes, after which the soil inside the contour is taken out to a depth of 20-100 cm, this value depends on the size and desired height of the future structure. Everyone who plans to make an alpine slide with their own hands should know that this structure is not a meaningless heap of stones, but a model of a natural mountain landscape Site preparation Next, prepare the site: remove the top layer of turf, the depth should be at least 300 mm. If you share your network connection, ask your administrator for help - a different computer using the same IP address may be responsible. Mountain crops are sensitive to dampness and rot. Right when reading it, I wanted to take and build such a miracle in my dacha.

However, for climbing plants... If you want to give your garden an exotic flavor, then you should pay attention to the garden art of Japan, which expresses the ideological attitude of local residents to nature. It is only necessary to provide for all the nuances. For a large area, there are no restrictions on the flight of fantasy: an alpine slide can occupy a decent area along which paths and steps will pass, or a very small island with a couple of stones.

Video about the creation of an alpine slide Hello, dear editors of the site! Between the tracks, it is desirable to leave plots of land intended for or. If time permits, it is better to wait until the weed seeds contained in the soil are sown in order to further destroy them with special preparations, this will facilitate further plant care. For an alpine slide, lighting should be provided so that its beauty is revealed in a new way at dusk. On a large site, it is immediately necessary to provide paths and transitions. Alternatively, you can use large pebbles to create individual elements or the entire rocky part of the slide. Agree: it is very difficult to imagine an alpine hill that does not bloom in early spring. As practice shows, even the most experienced designer rarely manages to place the stones correctly right away, and often they have to be moved from place to place to achieve the perfect picture. The resulting mixture must be poured onto the prepared layer and form a hill up to 1 m high. A pump is installed at the bottom, the power of which depends on the height of the cascade in the store they will select the appropriate option. thanks for original ideas decor. The type of alpine flower beds depends on the size, type of stones and the selected location. If the soil mixture is prepared independently, then you can make a composition of peat, humus, soddy soil and sand.

Making cardboard crafts with your own hands is a great way not only to have fun with your child, but also to help his creative and mental development.

The benefits of making crafts

This type of creativity develops in children such wonderful qualities as attentiveness, perseverance, accuracy, non-standard, creative thinking.

Also, by creating crafts from paper and cardboard, the child trains fine motor skills of the hands, which, as has been repeatedly proven by both science and personal experience many mothers, contributes to the development of intelligence and ingenuity in children.

Accessible type of creativity

Another, also important advantage of this type of activity, is that the material for children's crafts made of cardboard is the most affordable thing. You can find it in any office supply store different kinds colored paper (velvet, self-adhesive, matte, patterned, etc.) and cardboard (colored, white, corrugated, etc.) and buy them for mere pennies.

Waste cardboard boxes and packaging can also become material for cardboard crafts for children. Agree, the budget of this type of creativity is very attractive.

As an addition to paper and cardboard crafts, you can use absolutely any materials: ribbons and beads, sparkles, plasticine, natural materials, paints and much more. The main tools needed for any such craft will be scissors, glue, a ruler and a pencil.

On our site there are many workshops on making crafts, including from colored paper and cardboard. In this article you see one of them.

Craft "Airplane" from cardboard

With our simple and clear step by step instructions you can learn how to make such a cute and original cardboard airplane with your own hands, and then make it with your baby.

Such a craft will be a wonderful gift for dad or grandfather on his birthday or February 23, and will also be able to captivate your child for a while, immersing him in the world of creativity.

By the way, an airplane made according to our instructions can be used as an original design solution for decorating a nursery: you just need to hang it on a chandelier with a thin thread.

So, we need:

  • several blue sheets of cardboard;
  • several small pieces of pink and white paper;
  • empty matchbox;
  • simple pencil;
  • ruler;
  • PVA glue;
  • scissors.

How to make an Airplane craft out of cardboard?

Step-by-step description of making crafts:

First of all, you need to draw on the wrong side of the cardboard sheets a kind of “pattern” of the details of the future aircraft. To begin with, we draw a strip 1.5-2 cm wide and 30 cm long. It will be the basis of the craft - the tail of the aircraft.

Without what it is impossible to imagine any aircraft? That's right, wings. Their width should be a couple of millimeters more than the width of a matchbox, and their length should be about 13 centimeters.

Also, two more strips will be required there - for the lower part of the tail. One is 1 cm wide and 4 cm long, and the second is 1 cm wide and 6 cm long.

Note!

Let's start with the tail. To do this, we bend the longest strip, made specifically for the tail, exactly in half, with the colored side out. Next, grease the edges of the resulting strip with glue and glue them to the matchbox in height (see photo).

It is important to glue the ends of the strip exactly in the middle of the top and bottom of the box. Set aside the resulting structure for a while, let the glue dry. And in the free time we will be engaged in the manufacture of wings.

First of all, we take two strips intended for these same wings, put them together and carefully round off all the corners to get the same wings of the liner.

We return to the preparation of the tail: we take the boxes and glue our wings to it on both sides. Note that the wings must completely cover the boxes, for this, position them exactly in the center.

Let's add the tail section of the aircraft with the necessary details. To do this, take two identical strips of cardboard cut out in advance. We do with them the same way as with the wings: put them together and round the corners. Then grease the back side of the strips with glue and apply to each other.

Do not use too much glue, as the blanks soaked too much with it look ugly.

Note!

We insert the part just made under the bend line of the model and glue it. There is only one detail left: we take the last strip, bend it in half, with the colored side out, then bend one centimeter from each edge. This part should be glued to the very end of the tail of our aircraft.

On this, the main honor of the work is completed, let's proceed to the decor. In this part of the work, you can use your imagination to the maximum. You can decorate the plane as you like, it all depends on your desires and the desires of your child.

We suggest cutting a screw out of white paper and sticking it on the nose of the plane. To make it easier to cut such a complex part, first draw a sketch with a simple pencil.

Cut out small flowers or stars from pink or any other paper and glue them all over the body of the aircraft. Also, crafts can be decorated with drawings, sparkles, beads, or whatever you have enough imagination and opportunities for.

This completes the work on making paper and cardboard crafts. We hope this article was useful for you and you will definitely create such a toy with your child.

Specialization: master in the construction of plasterboard structures, finishing work and laying flooring. Installation of door and window blocks, facade finishing, installation of electrics, plumbing and heating - I can give detailed advice on all types of work.

After the move, there were quite a lot of cardboard boxes in our garage. And instead of just throwing them away, my wife and I decided to build a play slide for our little daughter. And here's what came out of it.

Gathering tools and materials

To build the play complex, we used:

  • Two large cardboard boxes made of very thick cardboard.
  • Several recycled cardboard boxes for the roof.
  • Black plastic straps.
  • Short and long self-tapping screws for drywall.
  • Lumber to strengthen the foundation.
  • Wood glue and a hot glue gun.

From tools:

  • Nice sharp knife.
  • Small hand saw.
  • Side cutters.
  • Cordless drill with crown cutters.
  • Cordless band saw.
  • Circular saw.

Important! The cardboard for the base of the slide was so thick that even I could not punch a hole in it with an awl. It was much easier to use a cordless drill to drill the hole.

In terms of value, the entire construction cost us absolutely free: the cardboard was left after the delivery of the heating equipment, along with several wooden materials and fasteners. And all the tools were purchased long before that.

Building floors

Since one box of thick cardboard is smaller than the other, this gave us the idea to make the building two stories high. I folded all the flaps inside the big box, placed it on level ground, and placed the smaller box on top of it.

To hold the top box in place, I drilled holes in the cardboard and tied the boxes together with plastic ties. In this way, I walked around the entire perimeter, making sure that the ends of the ties were outside and the children could not scratch themselves about them in the future.

After the zippers were tightened, cut them off with side cutters.

Cutting doors and windows

Using a hand saw, we cut out doors and windows in cardboard, taking into account the growth of our child. We cut a handle in the door, and again use plastic ties as hinges. On the second floor, we cut an opening under the door for the stairs and under the window.

Installing the roof

A plastic dome was used as a roof - gardeners and gardeners use it as a mini-greenhouse, planting plants in the ground in early spring. In our case, the transparent roof fits perfectly with the top cardboard box.

We collect a ladder from cardboard tubes

Among the remnants of the packing material were four strong cardboard tubes. They were long enough to build a safe staircase, so I decided that two of them would be uprights, and from the remaining two I could cut 4 steps. To do this, I used a saw, and cut them into the desired parts.

To attach steps to posts:

  • in each of them I cut grooves along the line;
  • inserted pieces of thick cardboard, smearing them with glue;
  • put steps on them;
  • assembled the ladder together;
  • attached the ladder to the house with self-tapping screws (twisted from the inside).

We make a slide from cardboard

The next step is the arrangement of the slide. First, I build a solid frame from a bar, then I sheathe it with cardboard, which I laid in several layers for strength, and then attached the structure to the house at the level of the doors of the second floor.

For the slide, it is important to give the right angle so that the child’s legs are first on the ground when descending, and the child himself must be in a sitting position.

We carry out tests

After all the parts have been firmly connected to each other, we carefully examine the entire structure:

  • Trim or smooth out any rough or pointy areas.
  • Additionally, we glue the fasteners (heads of screws and self-tapping screws) with cardboard.
  • We check for strength, and if we don’t like the result, we reinforce this place with a plastic fastener or a piece of cardboard folded several times.
  • We personally conduct tests - I climbed the stairs, sat at the top and went downstairs. The cardboard construction withstood my 82 kg weight without any problems.

The only thing we haven't worked out is the lack of any protection from the rain. Therefore, in the event of precipitation, I will have to move the entire structure to a covered terrace or garage, or cover it with a tarp.

Idea 3. Puppets or just puppets with moving parts

Making a puppet out of cardboard is very easy and fun. You just need to draw the details of the little man, cut them out and fasten them with mini pins (sold in scrapbooking stores).

  • Instead of special fasteners, you can use thin wire (for example, for beading). Just cut a piece of wire 2 cm long, thread it through the holes of the parts and twist its ends from the front and back sides as shown in the photo on the right. You can also use metal rings as fasteners.

If you want the figurine to become a real puppet, then you can:

  • Connect the arms and legs with a single thread, as shown in the photo below, or with two threads (one thread connects the legs, and the other connects the arms).

  • Tie a rope to each arm and leg, then tie all 4 ropes to the ends of the sticks folded crosswise. An example of such a puppet is shown in the following photo.

Idea 4. Finger puppets

Idea 12. Volumetric toys made of corrugated cardboard using quilling technique

Volumetric crafts can be "wound" using the quilling technique from corrugated cardboard. Having mastered the skill of forming various figures, the child will be able to experiment with shapes and colors and even create figures of their favorite cartoon characters.

Materials and tools:

  • Cardboard box;
  • Tracing paper or white tissue paper;
  • Black cardboard (you can paint ordinary cardboard with a thick layer of black paint);
  • White pencil;
  • Wooden skewers, straws or wire;
  • Scotch tape and / or glue;
  • Scissors;
  • Stationery knife.

STEP 1. First we need to make the theater body. To do this, cut off the lid from the box, and then cut out its bottom.

Step 2. Cut off a piece of tracing paper that is larger than the size of the box. Gently glue it to the sides of the theater with a little tension, as shown in the photo.

Step 4. Now it's time to cut out the characters of the future performance from black cardboard. Keep in mind that the more detailed the silhouette of the figurine is, the more realistic the shadow theater will be. Therefore, it is best to draw figures using the templates found on the Internet and printed.

Step 5. The shadow theater is almost ready, it remains only to glue the figures to wooden skewers or wires. You can stick them as shown in the photo below or perpendicular to make it easier to control the characters.
