Dymkovo toy is a miracle craft. Both adults and children are attracted by bright, funny toys. These products are pleasing to the eye, cheer up, reveal the world happy holiday. In March, the children of my group and I worked on the project "Introduction to the Dymkovo toy." We learned the history of this toy, examined toys and illustrations of the most popular toys (lady, peasant woman, duck, turkey, horse, horseman, visited the Bright Haze exhibition in the art studio of our garden. We also drew individual elements of Dymkovo patterns, sculpted and painted Dymkovo duck.

Kids! Today we will make a beautiful plate to decorate your home, but the plate is not simple, but Dymkovo! Want to? Then let's get down to business.
Before us lies the material for our plates.

The first thing you need to glue the template of our horse on a plate

We need to glue our template with glue and carefully glue it in the center of the plate

And now let's start decorating the plate with Dymkovo patterns. First, with a foam poke, we will apply large circles all over the figure of the horse. You can choose any color from the bright Dymkovo palette, I have it red.

Now among the large circles with a cotton swab we will draw small circles, for them we have chosen a different paint, a contrasting color

On the perimeter of the circle, draw large circles with a foam poke, do not forget to draw rhythmically, leaving equal intervals

And between the large circles draw small circles with a cotton swab

Let's check if the paint has dried on the large mugs? If yes, then with a toothpick we very carefully put a small black dot in the middle of the large circles.

Gently paint the tail and ears of our horse with a thin brush, paint the hooves with black paint.
Here we have such a handsome man!

And this is our finished decorative plate "Dymkovsky Horse". In order to be able to use it to decorate the house, we will glue a ribbon on the back.

This is how beautiful our plate will look on the wall

DURING THE CLASSES.

Let's sit down and have a good conversation. I wanted to tell you guys one amazing story. In a certain kingdom of the Russian state, on the banks of the river, there was, and still is, the large village of Dymkovo. Unusual toys were born in that village. On long, winter evenings they sculpted those toys from clay.
All toys are not simple,
And magically painted.
Snow-white, like birches,
Circles, stripes.
Seemingly simple pattern
But I can't take my eyes off

Toys from Dymkovo craftsmen turned out to be unusually beautiful, bright, fabulous, magical. People believed that these toys protect from misfortunes, from troubles. Therefore, they were placed in the winter between the windows, decorated with toys at home.
-Today we will paint one of the Dymkovo toys. Guess which one?
- An unknown bird started up,
Everyone marvels at her:
Doesn't sing and doesn't fly
Everything is burning and blazing.
Far across the world
Everyone knows this pichuga,
This bird is not simple -
Painted, golden,
Just a marvel - a bauble,
Her name is folk toy.
(Dymkovo cockerel toy)

For work, we need materials and tools:
-gouache
- brushes
-album
-scissors
- simple pencil

1. Take landscape sheet and circle your palm.

2. Draw the outline of the cockerel and cut it out.

3. Circle the cockerel's wing according to the template.

4. Before proceeding to painting, let's remember what elements of Dymkovo painting you know (circles, rings, dots, stripes, wavy lines, rhombuses)

5. First, draw a scallop, a beard, large elements of the pattern, using a thicker brush.

6. And now with a thinner brush we draw smaller patterns.

The world of the Dymkovo toy is the world of fabulously elegant, beautiful and expressive figurines of animals, people, birds. The images of folk sculpture are easily recognizable by children and delight them with bright colorful ornaments. Children are quickly included in creative games, with pleasure they compose and try to embody their ideas. By workbook classes are held: "Multi-color haze", "Horsemen", patterns "Sun", "Duck with ducklings", "Dymkovo patterns", "Turkey", "Outfit of a peasant woman", "Bird and water-carrier".

The first lesson is introductory. Children look at Dymkovskaya figurines, answer questions about color, a variety of elements of a geometric pattern, and share their impressions. We draw attention to the distinctive feature of the Dymkovo palette - bright, festive colors. At the end of the lesson, the children select the colors of the Dymkovo palette on the sheet.

Pay attention to unusual image goat rider. Children "enliven" the figurines, repeating familiar patterns on the silhouettes. Patterns are drawn immediately with a brush, without a preliminary drawing with a pencil - this is how folk masters draw. It is better to work with gouache paints.

We draw patterns with a brush and a signet-poke. Children independently make a large and small poke signet. To do this, tightly twist a strip of paper, as shown in the figure. Each paint has its own poke.

Children draw a sun pattern with a brush and a poke signet. The pattern execution sequence is shown in the figure.

The duck is a favorite image in folk art, associated with the sun, abundance. The breast and wings of the bird are decorated with patterns resembling a large and small sun.

Children independently select paints and decorate a duck with ducklings with a “sun” pattern.

(T. Mavrina)

We continue our acquaintance with Dymkovo patterns using the example of painting the decorative plumage of a turkey tail. Children complete the painting using a brush and a poke seal. Various methods of working with a brush are used: drawing wavy lines of the same thickness, applying a brush to depict a decorative flower.

Pay attention to how the rhythm of the pattern is consistent with the rounded shape of the tail.

The turkey is a traditional Dymkovo motif. Children look at a color illustration or a toy, read a quatrain by the folk master A. Dyakov.

Children paint a turkey figurine with a brush and a poke seal, varying and composing patterns on their own.

Children practice drawing horizontal and vertical colored lines on a poneva skirt with a brush, decorate the check pattern with additional elements.

In the decorative painting of these figurines, one can see a peculiar reflection of elements of folk clothing: a kokoshnik, earrings, beads, a jacket, a skirt, an apron. As in folk costume, everything is decorated with patterns. Patterns are harmoniously combined in color.

In painting the figurine of a peasant woman, children independently vary the patterns. It is better to start drawing patterns with a brush with large elements.

Children practice painting, painting patterns on skirts. We fix various methods of working with a brush: drawing lines of different thicknesses and directions, applying an imprint with the entire brush and the end of the brush. The work uses a poke seal.

Lady's outfit is amazing beautiful patterns, an abundance of shuttlecocks. In the molding and painting of this figurine, folk craftsmen reflected the originality of the fashion of city dwellers of bygone years.

Children independently vary the elements of the decor of clothes on the figurine of the lady.

We continue to develop the aesthetic emotional perception of the image.

The figure shows the stages of modeling by the master Dymkovskaya. The main feature is clay figurines.

For work you will need:

board-stand (wooden, plastic or linoleum);

stacks - wooden or plastic sticks with flat rounded ends of various shapes (see cover);

a jar of water;

rag.

The molded clay figurine must dry out, it will take several days. Then, without firing in a muffle furnace, you can paint the figurine. First, cover it in 2-3 layers of white paint. You can take white gouache, but it is better to use water-based white paint - White background will be brighter, cleaner. On a dried background, colored patterns are applied with gouache.

If the figurine was molded from a, then before painting, the surface must be degreased with crushed chalk or tooth powder.

The figurine of a horse, like the figurine of a lady, is molded by folk craftsmen in parts. The figure shows which blanks need to be molded to make a horse. The numbers indicate the sequence of connection and lubrication of parts.

The image of a horse in folk art, like the image of a bird, is loved and revered. These images are associated with the ancient cult of the sun. Like all Dymkovo figurines, the horse looks festive and elegant. Before painting the molded figurine, children compose and draw their fairy-tale horse in a notebook.

Performance at the toy circus. All Dymkovo toys look festive and elegant. Not all figurines are painted. Children must independently complete the appearance of toy artists and color the carpet in the circus arena with Dymkovo patterns.

Other Dymkovo heroes rush to take part in the performance: Ivan the pike rider, a bear and a cockerel. Children make their own patterns and color the figures.

These are the final lessons. Children are creative in composing and improvising based on the Dymkovo ornament. The ornament can also be depicted around toys, enhancing the festive mood. It is desirable to combine such a task with the modeling of various figures of Dymkovo toys and fairytale heroes written by children.

From the figures you can make a table theater: "Merry Carousel at the Fair", "Kingdom of Dymkovo", etc. Playing a performance, children can read riddles, jokes, poems about haze.

Lesson progress

Educator: Guys, you all have toys, but what are they made of?
Children: Our toys are made of plastic, rubber, metal, wood, fabric.
Educator: Let's find out what toys are made in the village of Dymkoye?
Why is Dymkovo famous?
With my toy.
It has no smoky color,
And there is the love of people.
There is something of a rainbow in her,
From dew drops.
There is something of joy in her,
Thundering like bass.
(V. Feofanov)
Educator: Affectionately and affectionately, the people call this toy - haze. Where does such an amazing name come from? Let's get acquainted with Dymkovo clay toys. I was born in the large settlement of Dymkovo near the city of Vyatka. In ancient times, the inhabitants of this settlement, young and old, sculpted a clay toy for the spring fair. In winter, the whole settlement is in smoke from the fact that stoves are heated, toys are burned. On cloudy days, fog spreads from the river with a light haze. Perhaps this is where the name Dymkovo came from, and the toys began to be called Dymkovo. Dymkovo toys were made for an old holiday<Свистопляска>.Later, the fair-holiday became known as<Свистунья>. What are these toys, let's see?

Through mountain ranges
Through the rooftops of the villages
red-horned, yellow-horned
Clay deer rushes.

Here is a smart turkey,
He's all so good
At the big turkey
All painted sides.
Look, a magnificent tail, He is not at all simple,
Like a sunny flower
Yes, scallop.

The Dymkovo young lady is all in orange, gold, scarlet and green patterns.

Look how good
This soul girl
Scarlet cheeks are burning
Amazing outfit.

Even the horses are in festive attire.

Clay horses rush
On stands that there are forces.
And they won't hold on to the tail
If the mane missed.

Educator: What do all these toys have in common?
Children: All toys have bright colors, all on a white background, covered with beautiful patterns.
Educator: And what do you think, what paint is first covered with a toy?
Children: White. On a white background, the patterns stand out well and beautifully..
Educator: Can you guess where the masters got the white color from?
Children: They took from the snow, from winter. Toys were sculpted in winter!!!
Educator: That's right. The masters took the white background from snow-covered fields, when in winter everything around is white and white. In those places, the winter is long, and there is a lot of snow. The craftsmen want to make the toy as clean and white as snow. Why are they bright?

Children: Because they were made for the holiday, so they were painted with bright colors.
Educator: What colors did the masters use to paint toys?
Children: They used bright colors: red, blue, crimson, yellow, orange, green.
Educator: What patterns do you see on toys?
Children: On the toys there are circles, dots, lines, cells, stripes, curves, waves, squares, rings, ovals.

Educator: What images can be seen in Dymkovo toys?
Children: Horse, cockerel, deer, ram, young lady.
Educator: The most common plots are: nannies with children, water carriers, rams with golden horns, turkeys, roosters, deer and, of course, young people, buffoons, ladies.

Educator: Let's find out how a toy is made?

(Children watch the video on the interactive whiteboard, the teacher talks in parallel).
A lot of work needs to be invested in order to make the toy so elegant. It is born three times. The first time it is born when it is molded from red clay. Modeling traces are smoothed out to give the product a smooth and neat surface. The toy must be burned to make it durable. The toy becomes hot from strong heat, and when it cools down, the clay becomes ringing and strong. So the toy is born a second time. There is a trial by fire. And when is the third time born?
Children: The toy is born for the third time when it is whitewashed and painted with paints.
Educator: Then it is whitened with chalk, diluted milk, and painted. Sometimes pieces of gold leaf are stuck on top of the pattern, giving even more elegance to the toy. So it is born for the third time. Beautiful bright, elegant toys are sold at the fair. Making a toy, from modeling to painting, is a process unique and creative, never repeating. There are no and cannot be two absolutely identical products. Each toy is unique, one and only.
