We continue to prepare our house for Easter. And we have already done , beautiful and . Next I want to show you interesting ideas Easter wreaths. of course I will different master classes and tips on how to make them yourself.

Such an ornament can be hung on a door or placed on a table if the craft is made of paper or fabric.

Light symbolism is used for decoration, such as eggs, flowers, willows, and chickens.

Well, since you are on the way to preparing for this bright holiday, I advise you to pay attention to articles describing recipes, to them, and. And we will continue.

Let's start with the most accessible material to us - paper and cardboard. Of these, most often we make crafts with the participation of children. The material holds its shape well, has many colors and is easy to cut.

I propose to look at the idea of \u200b\u200bcreating a wreath with a rabbit at the head.

To do this, first, on a clean white sheet of paper, you need to draw 13 identical ovals in the shape of an egg. Of course, it is more convenient to do this according to the template. Then each of them needs to be beautifully decorated with felt-tip pens or pencils. Give this task to your child. He certainly won't refuse.

You can use these templates.

Or cut out such eggs according to the scheme.

Then we cut out all the details along the contour.

We take paper disposable plate and cut out its bezel. On it with the help of PVA glue we glue all 13 parts, overlapping each other.

It turns out like this.

The same idea, but simpler, without a hare.

Here we cut out a blank from a special bright paper for creativity. And glue the eggs overlap through one.

Another idea with paper stripes.

The number of strips depends on the size and diameter of your round base. The dimensions of one strip can be taken as follows: 10 * 2 cm.

Each of them needs to be rolled up with a drop and glue its edges. As in the photo.

For the composition in the middle, you can use absolutely any material. From purchased to homemade options. Suppose such a nest can be made not only from branches, but also from dry grass, wire or cotton wool. Eggs can also be rolled up from plasticine, sewn from felt, or molded from salt dough.

On the wrong side of the wreath, glue a strip of a wide tape, which is fixed with one edge, and hold the composition with the other edge.

Another chick idea.

Template for cutting in color.

Template for printing and cutting in black and white. The lines marked with dotted lines need to be rolled up.

Similar idea.

And here is the template itself.

And now it's the turn diverse ideas from paper pieces.

Flowers can be made voluminous. I wrote about and simple.

Using foamiran decor details, you will achieve volume.

Do not be afraid if the details go beyond the edges of the base. From this, the craft looks even more interesting.

In the center of the composition is a large Easter egg.

As here, the previous idea is repeated, but the dimensions and position of the parts are changed.

Cute bunnies for decoration.

For them, I suggest using these rabbit face templates.

These are such fun and wonderful options.

Craft from egg cells at home

Found interesting ideas from egg trays. Who would have thought that just charming flowers are obtained from them.

Cut the egg trays into individual pieces. We bring each blank to the shape of a flower, cut out the petals and paint them in the desired colors.

Leaves are also made from them.

Variants of simple flower blanks.

And between them, fix the Easter theme, in the form of birds, chickens, testicles.

But, cutting cardboard from the tray is quite laborious. After all, it is very dense. Therefore, the child is definitely not to be trusted with such a thing.

How to make an Easter wreath with eggs

The idea that won me over! This is an egg shell decoration. At Easter, we usually cook a lot of pastries, and throw away the shells. Here is an option when you can make waste-free production. Depending on the diameter of the base, you will have a different number of eggs. For example, in this version, it took about 70 shells.

Let's start making this beauty. To do this, first cut out a round base for a wreath from cardboard.

Then, while the glue is hot, we apply the egg to the base. We fix.

Next to the glue is another one and so on around the entire circumference of the base. Then we start another row on top of them. To close the voids, we use feathers or cotton wool.

Such beauty comes out.

Tie a bow or ribbon on top.

Of course, this idea is very bold. But also quite original, right?

Wreath on the door or table made of felt

How can we do without felt, but nothing))) We make flowers out of it, sew soft eggs and rabbits. We also choose a round or oval base.

Five felt flowers were used for this wreath. For one, you need to take five templates with five petals. Each subsequent pattern is drawn more.

In the center, you can glue a bead, a button or a pompom.

Here is a great wreath with felt bunnies.

And here is the detailed step by step description how to make them.

The point is that you are cutting out the bunny pattern. You will need two parts. Do not completely sew them together and fill them with cotton wool. Then sew on the ears, nose. And draw or embroider a mouth with eyes.

Below is an idea with flower patterns and a cute bunny.

You can make such a wreath.

Separately cut out the details for the rabbit. Separately for carrots and decorate the base.

All details are given on this pattern.

It is not very difficult to make such an option.

Felt figurines can become part of the wreath decor, and the base itself is decorated with absolutely any material.

Did you like it? But we're not done yet.

Easter wreath master class from knitted yarn

From knitted yarn very cozy crafts. And they are made quickly, because the yarn is wide. For her, we take hook number 8.

First of all, measure the width of your base. Then do air loops until the chain width approaches the desired width mark. Then make a transition loop and continue the second row with single crochets. And so on until you knit a fabric that can wrap the entire base.

From the inside, we apply the canvas and wrap our circle.

The edges can be tied, or sewn with a thread.

For convenience, I will give a video description of this process.

DIY branch wreath ideas

From natural materials crafts always look very worthy. Such a wreath is not ashamed to hang on the street. Especially since nothing will happen to him at all.

You can take the base of aluminum hangers. we draw out a circle shape from them and decorate with twigs.

Of course, it will be great if you take willows. They can be collected in a bouquet and fixed on a wreath.

In the absence of willows, some housewives use cotton buds. Just cut off the fluffy edges from them and glue them to the branches.

Someone imitates the fluffy buds of willows made of wool using the felting technique. In general, the scope for imagination is not limited.

Easter wreaths from improvised materials

For example, the idea with ribbon and fur.

First from cardboard box cut out two blanks. We glue them together. The base is dense and holds its shape well.

We decorate it with ribbon, braid or knitted fabric.

Cut out blanks for eggs.

We decorate them with fabric. We make muzzles from wool. Glue the eyes and beak or ears to the lump.

A cute fluffy fur idea.

Fur can be taken from the children's edge on winter jackets. Or buy at a textile store. It can also be replaced with white grass yarn.

As ears, take a purchased bezel. Let's fix it on the basis. And wrap it with fur on top.

Cut out paws from foamiran or thick felt.

Let's put the pieces together.

And glue it in place.

For the tail, take a piece of fur and shade it with pink.

Idea from a plait or twisted yarn.

Weave them into a long braid.

We make a circle from the wire and fix the braid in length on it.

You can do otherwise. But provided that the braid is long. Then we take a cardboard base and glue one end of the braid to it with hot glue.

We wrap the braid around the cardboard.

It turns out like this.

It remains only to decorate the wreath with decor.

If you have a lot of different cute purchased blanks. Then they can also be glued to the wreath. For example, this bright and positive circle is decorated with store-bought chicken figurines.

But you can also get by with handmade blanks. To do this, you can make such figures from thread pompoms. Here is an idea of how they will look.

Moreover, such ideas can be made not only from chickens, but also from hares.

Below are two master classes on how to make such pom-pom figurines.

A slightly more complex version.

Do you only have yarn and buttons at home? Let's make a craft out of them!

Remind us of Easter will be the shape of the base in the form of an egg.

Which we wrap with yarn.

And on top we glue a lot of different buttons.

Egg blanks will be obtained from threads and PVA glue. To do this, inflate the ball. Soak the threads with glue and wrap them around the ball. Let's wait for it to dry and pierce the base. Carefully take out the pieces of the ball and collect the blanks into a wreath.

For decor, you can take a decorated shell.

Here is an option from yarn-grass.

From ribbons you can collect ideas using the kanzashi technique.

Or just use them for decoration.

We also use eggs from kinders of other toys in crafts.

Now there are many children's toys that are sold in such packages, in the form of eggs.

I think that in families with children, several of these things will definitely be found.

Another idea with chicken and quail eggs.

Of course, you can take them as their real shells, as well as sew their imitation out of fabric and felt.

The wreath does not have to be round or oval. Make it in the shape of a rabbit, for example.

Below I will show ideas for knitted crafts for decoration.

Idea with knitted decor.

For strapping, you can take these schemes.

Well, for real craftswomen they throw up this wonderful idea!

DIY Easter wreath is an integral part of the festive decor. It is created from various kinds of materials and placed on a door or wall. In addition, there are types of wreaths that are used both as a gift and for serving a festive table.

History of tradition

The Easter wreath is an ancient symbol meaning eternal life and infinity. It is also associated with the image of the sun, which gives life-giving warmth to all people. Easter wreaths are used as decoration for a family feast. They are placed in the center of the table, and a freshly baked Easter cake is put inside and colored eggs. Also, often on Easter Eve you can see a wreath on front door. It symbolizes that the owners of the house will be glad to the arrival of new guests and will receive them with cordiality, as well as kindness.

Previously, wreaths were used only for decorating rooms at Christmas, but now they have become an integral element of all possible holidays. It is believed that if you put positive messages into them at the energy level, they will become a real talisman against evil influence.

How to make an Easter wreath

The basis for a do-it-yourself Easter wreath can be cardboard, branches, wires, and even newspapers. Often use willow twigs. They bend easily and do not break, so they are comfortable to work with. A wreath made of willow twigs looks like a nest and symbolizes home comfort.

Also, to create a product with their own hands, foam rings are used - this is an almost ready-made base for a wreath. However, to save money, you can make a circle of cardboard elbows designed for transporting and storing eggs. As a rule, during the Easter period they are always at hand.

Advice! In order for the rods or any other branches used to become more flexible and pliable, they must be soaked for half an hour in hot water.

DIY Easter wreath ideas from improvised materials

Creating an Easter wreath with your own hands, you need to show creativity and accuracy. Perseverance is also equally important, since the manufacture of complex compositions, as a rule, takes a lot of time. Below are interesting ideas and variations of Easter wreaths of different categories of complexity.

How to make an Easter wreath with your own hands: master classes

Below are master classes on creating Easter wreaths with your own hands from improvised, as well as purchased funds. At the end of the work, finished products are decorated with feathers, plastic eggs, fresh flowers, decorative figurines, ribbons and eggshells.

Simple Easter Yarn Wreath

Scroll necessary materials and tools:

  • glue gun;
  • lace;
  • green yarn;
  • plasticine;
  • scissors;
  • threads for knitting in three different colors;
  • 2 brown dense threads of different shades;
  • satin ribbon;
  • foil;
  • matches.

Step by step instructions:

  1. First you need to make a base. Knead the plasticine and lower it for 5 minutes in a container of hot water. This will make the material more pliable. Next, a ring is molded, the diameter of which should be 22 cm.

  2. Plasticine can stain the yarn, so the prepared ring is wrapped with foil intended for baking products.

  3. Next, the base is wrapped with yarn-grass. The threads must be tightly positioned to each other. There should be no gaps.

  4. Lace ribbons are divided into separate flowers. They will need 12-20 pieces, depending on the size of the lace. It is advisable to use several different tapes.

  5. Next, the flowers are attached to the yarn using glue gun and leave to dry.

  6. While the base for the Easter wreath dries, you need to tie the basket and eggs. Using a colored thread, tie 2 air loops. 6 single crochets are knitted into one of them and the ring is closed. The next row should consist of 12 of the same columns. In other words, each loop must be knitted with 2 columns.

  7. Next, knit 2-3 rows without adding loops. When most of the egg is formed, you need to gradually reduce the number of columns. At the end, the thread is fixed and pulled to the base. Such eggs require 3 pieces.

  8. Sewing brown threads connect and make 2 loops. 6 columns are knitted into one of them. Further, as knitting, the number of columns is increased. When the bottom of the basket becomes the desired diameter, knit 1 double crochet and 1 more without it.

  9. To finished product sew on the eggs.

  10. The knitted basket is glued to the base using a glue gun.

  11. A satin ribbon is threaded through the wreath and tied into a bow. The excess is cut with scissors, and the edges are singeed.

Advice! If foil is not at hand, then cling film or a cut bag is suitable as a replacement.

Wreath of twigs and eggs

Required materials and tools:

  • dried or artificial flowers;
  • hollow eggshell from quail eggs;
  • hay;
  • glue gun;
  • birch or willow rods;
  • feathers;
  • willow branches;
  • decorative wire.

Instructions for creating a wreath:

Easter wreath with paperclay eggs

List of required materials and tools:

  • paperclay;
  • skewers;
  • birch rods;
  • aerosol can;
  • acrylic brown paint;
  • acrylic paint in different colors;
  • brown pastel;
  • a glass of water;
  • decorative flowers;
  • cotton openwork ribbons;
  • paint brush;
  • cardboard;
  • a tea bag or a teaspoon of coffee;
  • glass beads;
  • glue gun;
  • newspaper.

Step by step instructions:

  1. First you need to make eggs from paperclay. It is a material for sculpting figures. Paperclay is moistened with water and balls are formed from it, which are then shaped into eggs. All blanks are put on skewers or toothpicks. If cracks appear on the products, then smoothing them is not required. They will serve to create the effect of a cracked egg. Finished blanks are left to dry overnight.

  2. When the paper glue hardens, you need to start staining. You can paint the eggs with gouache, acrylic or an aerosol can. It is desirable to use gentle and soft tones. To create an Easter wreath, you will need 8-14 pieces of blanks.

  3. The sides of the eggs are tinted using brown pastel, and the skewers are taken out.

  4. Further acrylic paints diluted with water, sprayed onto blanks with a brush.

  5. At the fifth stage of work, you need to create a frame. Newspaper sheets are cut into strips 4-5 cm wide. Then they are crumpled and twisted into thin bundles.

  6. A disk with a diameter of 24 cm is cut out of a sheet of cardboard. Using a glue gun, blanks from newspaper sheets are attached to it. It is desirable to interlace the harnesses with each other.

  7. The inner and outer edges of the cardboard disc must also be framed with a newspaper twisted sheet.

  8. The base is coated with brown acrylic paint on both sides.

  9. Next, birch rods are threaded between the bundles with a thick end forward. It is advisable to take the thinnest and most easily bending branches.

  10. Then proceed to decorate the base. Strong tea or coffee is brewed and lace ribbons are lowered into the glass. As soon as they take on an aged look, they need to be dried and also woven into an Easter wreath. All manipulations are repeated with artificial flowers. To keep the blanks in shape, they are covered with PVA glue.

  11. At the final stage, with the help of a glue gun, eggs, beads, moss and flowers are attached to the handmade Easter wreath.

Important! Paperclay can be replaced with ordinary colored plasticine or clay used for modeling

How to decorate an Easter weed wreath

The main symbol of the holiday is Easter eggs, so they must be present in a wreath. However, it is customary to use decorative analogues. Real eggs will make the wreath heavier. The easiest and cheapest substitute is eggshell. You can also decorate the product with figurines or drawings of a rabbit, chicken and chicken.

Flowers and willow branches with unopened buds will look beautiful on Easter wreaths made of grass. They symbolize spring and also the renewal of life. In addition, it is customary to use satin ribbons. They close the flaws in the form of joints and empty spaces on the wreath. Also, the ribbon will give the product a more festive and solemn look.

Paints are usually used in bright colors. The predominant color in Easter wreaths is green. It is a symbol of the rebirth of nature. They also use red shades, which are associated with life that has overcome death and blue. In general, the composition should include many different cheerful colors.

Advice! To obtain eggshell, you need to pierce the egg from above and below, and then blow out the contents. The finished base is covered with paints or decorated using the decoupage technique.

Even having fully studied the master class, an inexperienced person will face a number of difficulties and questions when working. Tips from experts to help simplify the task and avoid mistakes:

  • When creating an Easter wreath with your own hands, it is better to use peeled willow branches. After some time after cleaning, they acquire a beautiful golden color. To clean the branches, they must be boiled for 2 hours, and then use a pincer or knife to remove the peel.
  • Foam elements and the base must be painted. To do this, it is better to use paints, ink or a marker. However, it is first necessary to cover the foam with a primer. It will prevent the absorption of paint, and also make its porous surface smoother.
  • Before you pierce the egg to blow out the contents, you need to stick a piece of adhesive tape or plaster on its upper and lower parts. This will prevent many small cracks from appearing around the puncture site.

Important! You need to clean the rods while they are wet. In order to avoid drying out, they are placed in water at room temperature.

Conclusion

Having made an Easter wreath with your own hands, you can get a beautiful and extraordinary decoration for your home, which will not only surprise guests, but also create a festive atmosphere. Its production will not take much time and will give a lot of pleasant emotions. Creating a wreath is an exciting activity during which you can show your imagination and corporate identity.

Traditionally, such wreaths are made from branches, flowers, small decorative eggs and other themed decorations. We offer you two master classes with which you can make these spring decorations yourself - for yourself or as a gift.

How to make an Easter wreath with your own hands

If you managed to find a ready-made base in a flower shop, most of the work is already done! If not, do not worry - you can make the base from the branches yourself. On the basis of a universal frame, a variety of wreaths will turn out. For example, this one, complete with decorative eggs.

You will need:

For the frame:

    birch/willow branches

    Cardboard stencil

    Carnations without caps

    Wooden plank

  • Wire or twine

For decor:

    wide ribbon

    Narrow tape

    Decorative colored eggs

    Dry grass or straw

Manufacturing process

    First, let's make a frame. Birch or willow branches will do - do not break them off the tree, pick up those that have already fallen. Flexible, young branches work best.

    Prepare a stencil - a circle of cardboard of the desired diameter. For example, 27 cm.

    Around the stencil on the board, drive in small carnations without hats, about 15 pieces. Remove the cardboard.

    Let's start weaving the frame! Lay the branches between the nails with a snake, alternating weaving before the nail after the nail.

    When the circle is formed, tie the frame with floral wire or twine in several places. Remove the finished base from the nails.

    Now let's start decorating. At the bottom, attach dry grass or straw with wire. Glue the eggs on it. You can also add a decorative rabbit or small chickens.

    Pass a wide band through the top. Attach a bow from the second piece of a narrower ribbon of the same color to it.

    Easter wreath with your own hands is ready! As you can see, you can make it from improvised materials - ordinary branches, ribbons and grass. You only need a few decorative additions.

DIY Easter wreath: master class

A do-it-yourself themed Easter wreath will be made from willow branches that you have collected in honor of Palm Sunday before Easter.

You will need:

    willow twigs

    Floral or plain wire

  • The basis for a wreath of branches or straw (you can make it yourself - see above)

Manufacturing process

    Cut the willow so that you get branches of approximately the same length 8-10 cm.

    Gather several branches into a bundle, fasten at the base with a wire. You will need several of these bundles.

    Distribute the bundles throughout the wreath, attach with wire. Ready! Willow can be grown in your own garden in the country, and every spring you will have fresh branches!
