- white thick fabric;

- threads;

Fold the white canvas in half, draw a semicircle below. Cut it out in a zigzag motion.
Draw a pattern in the form of a cone or a sharp triangle. Apply it to front side wings, circle. Fill in the space between these shapes with a black marker, leaving the triangles white.
To make the woodpecker costume further, these wings need to be sewn to the sleeves of the T-shirt and the back of its neckline. On the 1st and 2nd sides of this part, you need to make small holes, stretch the elastic band here and tie its edges.

We cut out all the details of the cap from paper, having previously made calculations. So, for parts 3 and 4, the length of the base is equal to the diameter of the head divided by 6. Then we lay out the patterns on the fabric, circle, adding a little to the seams, cut out and sew in turn. The beak is black, the rest of the details are blue and yellow, as shown in the picture. We cut out the eyes from white tape, stick it on the cap on the sides. Pupils can be drawn with a marker or cut out from leftover felt. Be sure to fasten the clasp at the back.
