New Year's crafts from cones and cylinders. Construction of voluminous toys from a cylinder and a cone. #1 Simple Christmas tree made from cylinders

Put a candle inside and light it. The light will fall as if from the windows of magical snow-covered houses.

What do you need

  • light paper;
  • pencil;
  • black marker;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • glass jar;
  • sponge;
  • White paint.

How to do

Place a sheet of paper horizontally and draw on it the outlines of a winter city: snowdrifts, trees, houses with windows, a lantern. Fill in the shapes with a black marker and cut them out along the outline. Make the windows of the houses.

Now glue the paper along the bottom edge of the can. Using a sponge, lightly cover the glass and the outlines of the city with white paint, imitating snow.

2. Tree from a magazine

Two in one: decorate the house and get rid of old prints.

What do you need

  • magazine;
  • glue gun;
  • gold spray paint;
  • red and gold foamiran with sparkles or red and gold paper with sparkles;

  • scissors;
  • beads.

How to do

Lay the magazine so that the spine is on the left. Fold the first sheet, connecting the top edge with the left. Bend the lower right corner to the middle.

Deal with the rest of the sheets in the same way. Open the magazine approximately in the middle and go over the fold with a glue gun. Fold the right sheet, sticking its edge to the middle of the magazine.

Flip over the glued part, cover the center of the magazine again with glue and glue the next sheet. Do the same with the rest of the sheets. You will have a cone. Cover it with spray paint.

On the reverse side of foamiran or paper, draw two identical large gold stars and several smaller red and gold stars. Cut them out carefully.

Connect two large stars with sequins outward and glue to the top of the Christmas tree. Place the rest of the stars and beads on the New Year's tree.

  • tassel;
  • red bow.

How to do

Cut each of the three napkins into four equal parts and roll them into cones, smearing the edges with glue.

Cut out a circle with a diameter of 10 cm from cardboard. Coat it with glue on one side and glue it to white paper. Cut out a circle from it, retreating from the edges of the cardboard 1–2 cm.

Make vertical cuts on the paper. Lubricate the edges of the cardboard circle with glue on the reverse side and glue the cut paper to it.

Glue whole napkins to the circle on both sides. Mark the middle on the one that turned out to be on the front of the workpiece. By using glue gun arrange the prepared cones of napkins in a circle.

Glue spruce twigs and berries to the center of the wreath. Lightly cover them with white paint, imitating snow. Place a bow under the composition.

5. Christmas vase

This craft can be used as a stand for stationery or cosmetics, as a candlestick or just a beautiful decorative element.

What do you need

  • notebook sheets of paper;
  • glue;
  • glass cup;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • gold spray paint;
  • twine;
  • wooden decorative elements.

How to do

Roll the sheet diagonally into a thin tube, periodically lubricating the paper with glue. Attach the workpiece vertically to the glass and cut it approximately to its height.

Make enough tubes to cover the entire glass. It is better if they are slightly different in length.

Attach them to the glass with a glue gun. Cover the future vase with paint inside and out. Wrap the bottom and top with pieces of twine and glue the wooden decor in the middle.

6. Christmas gnome made of fabric

Cozy decor element in Scandinavian style.

What do you need

  • colored fabric;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • white faux fur;
  • wire;
  • gray fleece;
  • black felt;
  • wooden ball;
  • Christmas decoration.

How to do

Wrap the cone with a cloth, cut off the excess and glue it with a glue gun. From the fur, cut out a beard in the shape of an elongated rhombus and a long mustache, similar to the letter "L".

Glue the beard to the cone. It should take up most of it. At the top, part the fur and place the mustache so that the beard hangs slightly on them. So the figure will be more voluminous.

Cut a piece of wire about the length of the cone and insert it into the top of the workpiece. Wrap the fleece around the wire so that it extends slightly over the beard. Cut off the excess, connect the fleece to the cone and fasten the edges of the fabric with glue.

Cut out eyes from felt and glue them under the hat. Below, place the nose of the gnome - a wooden ball, and glue the Christmas decoration on the hat.

Cute gnomes can also be made from improvised materials. This video shows how to make them from socks:

7. Bottle toy

When looking at this decoration, one can hardly guess what it is made of.

What do you need

  • stationery knife;
  • 2 plastic bottles volume 1.5 l;
  • yellow paint;
  • tassel;
  • wire;
  • 6 Christmas balls;
  • PVA glue or acrylic glue;
  • gold glitter;
  • glue gun;
  • red narrow ribbon;
  • 3 red bows;
  • decorative flower with sequins.

How to do

Cut the bottles a little above the middle. Poke a hole in the center of each lid with a utility knife. Cover the caps with yellow paint and close the bottles with them.

Pass a piece of wire through the lids so that its ends are in the bottles, and a loop forms on top. Put three balls on each end and twist with wire. The balls must be inside the bottles.

Lubricate the outside of the bottles with glue and cover with glitter, leaving a small strip along the bottom edge. Attach a red narrow tape to it using a glue gun.

Glue the bows together. Twist the top of the wire slightly over the bottle caps. Use a glue gun to close the twist with a bow, on which glue a decorative flower.

8. Volumetric snowman made of threads

If you insert a garland into this cute snowman, he will decorate the room even at night.

What do you need

  • 2 balloons;
  • scotch;
  • white yarn;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue;
  • water;
  • needle;
  • 2 thin wooden branches;

  • black double-sided paper or cardboard;
  • colored tape;
  • colored fabric;
  • 2 black buttons;
  • cardboard;
  • orange paint;
  • tassel.

How to do

Inflate the balloons and tie off the ends. One ball should be slightly smaller than the other. Tape them together to form a snowman. Tie the place of gluing with yarn so that the balls are even closer to each other. Cut off the rest of the thread.

In a wide plate, combine glue and water in equal proportions. Wet the yarn well with the resulting mixture and wrap the balls tightly. The thread should cover most of their surface. Leave the workpiece to dry completely. To speed up the process a little, you can use a hair dryer.

Pierce the balls in several places with a needle and carefully remove the rubber through the holes. Cut some string at the bottom of the snowman so he can stand up. Insert branches on the sides - these will be his hands - and secure with a glue gun.

To make a hat, cut a rectangle out of black paper and glue its edges together. You can also take a sleeve from toilet paper and paint it black.

Cut out two circles from paper: according to the diameter of the resulting tube and larger. Glue the smaller one on top. Cut the larger one in the middle and connect to the bottom of the hat. Wrap the tulle with colored ribbon.

Lubricate the brim of the hat with glue and attach to the snowman's head. Wrap a rectangular piece of fabric around the neck, glue its edges to each other and to the bottom ball. Place buttons next to it.

Make a small cone out of cardboard, paint it in Orange color and glue in the middle of the top ball. From black paper, cut out a mouth and eyes and place them next to the snowman's nose.

9. Volume Christmas tree made of threads

Such a Christmas tree is made according to the same principle as volumetric snowman. But there are a couple of important nuances.

What do you need

  • a foam blank in the shape of a cone;
  • stationery pins;
  • PVA glue;
  • water;
  • white yarn;
  • beads;
  • glue gun.

How to do

Wrap the styrofoam with cling film and pierce it in several places with pins. Thanks to the film, the workpiece will be easier to remove, and the pins will help the thread stay in place.

Combine glue and water in equal proportions and thoroughly moisten the yarn in the mixture. Wrap the workpiece with threads, catching them on the pins. Leave overnight to dry completely.

Remove the needles and carefully remove the workpiece. Place the beads on top with a glue gun.

  • wooden bead.

How to do

Using a jigsaw or scissors, cut out a crescent-shaped blank from plywood or cardboard. Make a small hole on top and insert a piece of twine there - the future loop.

Gradually lubricating the workpiece with glue, tightly wrap it with twine. With a sponge, apply a little white paint to the rope and cones, imitating frost. Color the wooden snowflake completely.

Using a hot glue gun, attach the snowflake to the bottom of the crescent moon so that most of it sticks out of the edge.

Glue spruce branches nearby, and on them - cones and a ball. Arrange the ribbon with pom-poms and berries.

Using a brush, lightly tint the branches with white paint. Insert a wooden bead into the string, which is threaded into the upper hole, and tie the thread with knots from above and below.

Simple, interesting and fun to make crafts from cones. This is because the most ordinary cone can turn into any toy, animal, bird, funny object. By attaching various parts to the cone, as well as fastening the cones together, you can create a whole collection of crafts, like toys, souvenirs and quite useful items.

To create a cone, draw a circle with a compass and divide it into 4 parts. Then all these sectors are cut, and a cone is rolled up from the resulting quarters. Such a cone will be narrow, but if you cut off more than a quarter of a circle, the cone itself will turn out wider.

What can be crafts from cones?

Dog

Twist a half circle of brown paper into a cone - the torso is ready. Add dog ears, muzzle, paws and eyes and you get a cute dog, and most importantly - very easy to create.

Elephant

The base, that is, the body of an elephant, is a gray thin cone from the fourth part of the circle. Plus a head with large ears, smoothly flowing into the trunk, legs and tail. Everything is simple and fast, especially since a head template is attached to help.

simple paper cat

The simplest craft, consists of a black cone and a small cylindrical head attached to the top of the cone. you will also need protruding ears, elongated eyes, nose, mustache, paws and tail. Cats in this technique look original, beautiful in various colors.

a lion

The work is interesting not only for the conical body, but also for the head, the mane around which is made of thin paper strips glued in loops. Flowers are often made in this way.

Crow

You can make a funny crow or crow out of a cone. And the work is very simple. The base is a black cone, the wings are a single whole and the head is in the form of a circle. And you will also need a wide beak from yellow paper and paws in the form of strips of paper folded into an accordion.

paper penguins

The work is so simple that in a matter of minutes you can make a whole family of penguins, with mom, dad and babies. Children quickly memorize the sequence of actions and easily cope with the task.

Dragon Toothless

In continuation of the black characters, I present to you the handsome Toothless from the cartoon How to Train Your Dragon. It also consists of a tapered torso and complementary paper pieces, for which there is a template to help you create.

Frog

Excellent cone craft, as simple as possible. The body is a wide green cone, plus a minimum of complementary details in the form of four identical paws, eyes and tongue. All.

cone bee

Bright butterflies

The craft is very similar to the previous one, differs only in the shape of the wings and colors. Such a butterfly is extremely easy to make, the main thing is the presence of colored paper of various shades and your own imagination.

Piggy from a cone

The simplest craft for children, even the smallest. They may need a little help creating the cone, but they can handle the rest of the ingredients with ease and no problem.

cone hens

Here the cone is not in its original form, since when it is rolled up, you need to leave the tips. But still, the technique is the same, chickens are easy to make, like all cone crafts.

Ladybug

Most likely, this is a surprise bag in the form ladybug, with which you can put sweets and present such a gift to your mother. Taking a cone as a basis, you can make such a surprise in the form of a variety of characters.

See step-by-step instructions.

Not only animals can be made from a cone. In this version, this is a witch, but it can also be any little people, fairy tale characters, for example, a stargazer, forest fairies, gnomes, and even a snowman.

Hedgehog

See what a wonderful hedgehog you can make! Moreover, the hedgehog consists entirely of cones, only some of them are cut to look like needles. And he himself is not in a vertical position, like the previous crafts from cones, but horizontal.

Cylinder toys: Master Class.

A master class on making toys from cylinders is given by Galina Demikhova, a regular reader of the Rodnaya Path website and grandmother of two granddaughters (3 years old) and grandson (10 years old).

Galina writes: “Thank you, Asya, this is my first time participating in the competition. Very interesting for me and the kids.

All toys are made of cylinders - toilet paper tubes.

How to make Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden from a cylinder - toilet paper tubes

for crafts New Year's toys I took:

- toilet paper tubes

- colored paper for the wings and nose of Santa Claus,

white paper for face,

- cotton pads for a beard, mustache, snow maiden bangs, coat edges.

For crafts of the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus, you need to take cylinders - tubules from toilet paper.

Step 1. From one end of this cylinder, bend the edges to the middle - you will get, as it were, two triangular ears.

From the bottom of the tube, also fold the edges of the cylinder to the middle, but already so that the ears look the other way. Get legs.

"Ears" for a hat are best sewn with threads, they do not stick to glue.

Step 2. When the ears are sewn, paint the blank. This is what sewn blanks for toys look like.

Step 3. Making a face. For the face, take a semicircle (look to fit your workpiece and glue). It turned out to be a face.

Glue a semicircle of a cotton pad around the face, cut along the edge - this is a beard.

Mustaches can also be cut from a cotton pad to your taste - large or small.

And for the Snow Maiden, cut out the hair as well.

We glue everything.

We make a nose from a circle of paper.

Around the cylinder - where the hat ends, that is, above the face - glue a strip of either cotton, or from a cotton pad. And you can decorate with paints - put dots, or stick sequins.

Don't forget to tie the eyelet to the hat when you sew the "ears" at the top. You can see it all in the picture.

How to make a crow toy from a toilet paper cylinder:

The crow is done in the same way, only I bent all 4 sides at the top and sewed 4 “ears” together, I got an almost round head.

Cut out the tail, beak and wings. And stick them on the toy."

What can kids do in making this craft: Granddaughter (three years old) painted and glued cotton strips from cotton pads- these are decorations for fur coats and hats, the granddaughter made incisions. And the grandson of 10 years pasted sequin decorations. Under the guidance of an adult, you can make many of these toys. Last year we made an owl and made all the characters for the fairy tale. A sheep, a hare and a snowman were sculpted from salt dough.

Conversation

Read the proverb written on the board:

.

How do you understand what an artel is?

Why do you think things go faster in a friendly team?

I suggest that you sit at tables with several people for this lesson.

Who guessed why?

Children answer questions from the teacher and are divided into groups for further work.

Personal

We form the ability to assess life situations when friends come to the rescue

Communicative

We form the ability to shape our thoughts, the formation of the ability to cooperate in a team

UPDATE OF KNOWLEDGE AND FIXING OF DIFFICULTIES

Cognitive-analytical conversation

Look at the screen. What do you see?

On screen pictures:

Why do we need these products?

Did you like them? How?

What do you think these crafts are made of?

Look at the samples on the screen again and tell me, would you like to learn how to make such crafts yourself?

These are Christmas garlands.

Products made in this way are well suited for interior design, information stands, decoration Christmas tree and rooms on New Year

The fact that these toys are made by hand. They are very funny and cute

From thick paper and thin colored paper for decoration

Cognitive UUD

1. We form the ability to extract information from diagrams, illustrations.

2. We form the ability to identify the essence and features of objects.

3. We form the ability to draw conclusions based on the analysis of objects.

Regulatory UUD

Developing the ability to make assumptions

FORMULATION OF THE LEARNING PROBLEM

Product Analysis

What was special about the product?

How can such a craft be made?

What can we already do?

What difficulty will you experience while doing the work?

What do you think we have to do today?

Let's go back to the example

Look, the connection of the legs, head, neck is movable, which allows you to change their position and in general appearance toys

All products are made on the basis of a cylinder and a cone

Make blanks based on cylinders and cones. Then connect them together and attach the finishing details

We can perform cone and cylinder reamers. We learned this in the lessons of visual geometry

When fastening parts together. You need to think: whether to glue the parts. Whether with the help of threads to connect

We will learn how to design toys based on cylinders and cones and fasten the parts together

Regulatory UUD

BUILDING A PROJECT TO EXIT THE DIFFICULT

Discovery of Practical Skill

Is there anyone among you who guessed how the work would be done

I suggest you talk about it in groups

Review the craft and discuss how it was received / Group work.

- For a cone, you need to take half a circle. The size of the circle is determined by the size of the future product. The cones are folded in such a way that at the top you get either an acute angle, or an obtuse, or a right angle, depending on the product.

For a cylinder, a rectangle is drawn based on the size of the future product.

Communicative UUD

1. We form the ability to listen and understand others.

2. We form the ability to build a speech statement in accordance with the tasks.

3. We form the ability to formulate our thoughts orally.

Cognitive UUD

Forming the ability to acquire new knowledge by observing ready-made samples of garlands, processing information: comparison with a template

Planning for the upcoming practical work(building the sequence of product manufacturing)

Imagine what your product will look like. -What craft will you take as a sample?

Is it possible to make a sketch of a craft on your own?

What material will you make your toy from?

Here are parts of the instruction card.

And what is it? What is it for?

Try creating an instruction sheet for parts based on a cylinder

If you assembled it correctly, then what will you get?

Let's talk about our plan of action.

You can make your own toys

We will perform from thick paper (thin cardboard) and colored paper

Scheme reflecting the sequence of actions in the manufacture of the product

Work plan.

Cone

1. Draw a circle with a compass.

2. Divide it into 4 equal sectors.

3. Cut and remove 1 sector from the circle

4. Glue the remaining 3 sectors

Cylinder

1.Draw a rectangle of given parameters

2. Roll into a cylinder and glue the edges

Connect between themselves parts crafts and glue. (or connect with threads). Apply finishing material with glue

Regulatory UUD

We form the ability to predict the upcoming work (draw up a plan), we form the ability to carry out cognitive and personal reflection.

Regulatory UUD

We form the ability to express our assumption, the ability to evaluate learning activities in accordance with the task.

Self-practical work

When working with which tool you need to be careful?

How to properly place tools and materials on the desktop so that they do not interfere with you and your comrades?

Remember that you are working in groups, so distribute the work so that all members of your group are involved.

You need to carefully work with scissors and a needle, as you can get hurt.

Students organize their jobs, distribute “roles” in the group: someone makes blanks for cones, someone for cylinders, someone traces shapes for decoration according to the template, someone cuts out, someone decorates.

Communicative UUD

We form the readiness for cooperation, the ability to negotiate

PRIMARY REINFORCEMENT (SPEAKING IN EXTERNAL SPEECH)

Workplace cleaning.

Generalization.

Guys, what did you learn in the lesson, what did you learn?

What would you do differently now?

What shall we do now?

We are organizing an exhibition.

Personal UUD

We form motivation for learning and purposeful cognitive activity

REFLECTION

Practice Assessment

Let's discuss and evaluate finished goods criteria: quality, originality, independence.

What do you want to do with your craft?

What was our goal at the beginning of the lesson?

Did you manage to solve it? How?

Did you enjoy working in a group?

And what did you like?

So, it is not in vain that it is said: Alone you can’t overcome a bump, an artel - and just right through the mountain

How will you leave class today?

Who do we have to thank for this?

Children share their emotions and feelings, thank each other for the lesson
