Do good for others...

How important it is in the modern world, the age of progressive technologies, when a computer replaces a person with live interlocutors, to stop for a moment and think about those who and what surrounds us. Sometimes we lack citizenship, moral qualities: kindness, sympathy, active help and support for those who today are rejected by their relatives and friends, find themselves in a difficult life situation and, perhaps, have lost faith in society. We are indifferent to everything that and who is around us.

In order to somehow solve this problem, we united in a group, creating a volunteer movement, and began to organize work and act under the slogan "Together - we are strong!" With their actions and the work done, we wanted to demonstrate that our contribution is effective way solutions to many public and social problems, and any person who is not indifferent to the problems of others can participate in this.

And in this regard, the social project "Do good" was created. The project is designed for 7 months. In the course of the project, students independently conducted research on various sources of information (printed, Internet), conducted a survey among their peers, among the residents of the village, formalized the results of their research in the form of presentations, booklets. During the creation of the project, methods such as observation, study of the problem, interviews, and surveys were applied. This project is voluntary.

Target project:

Formation of an active citizenship, mercy, tolerance, compassion, stimulate the interest of the younger generation in solving urgent problems of society;

Tasks project:

1. The acquisition by students of the theoretical knowledge and skills necessary for successful participation in a socially significant project;

I stage. The relevance and importance of this problem

Our project creates conditions for the manifestation of the best human qualities.

We are sure that there are people among us who are ready to spend several hours a week on a good deed completely disinterestedly. And they are nearby, they just need to be interested and attracted, encouraged to do good deeds. Such people are called volunteers.ѐ ramie. Volunteering is not a profession, not a hobby, not a social burden. This is a way of thinking, an ability that is amazing today - to find time and strength for completely strangers.

So we decided to try to organize such a movement among the students of our school. This is a children's movement that benefits both the state and the volunteers themselves, who not only solve many social problems, but also develop their skills and abilities, satisfy the need for communication, self-expression and self-respect. They realize their usefulness and necessity, receive gratitude for their work, develop important personal qualities in themselves, in fact follow their moral principles and discover the spiritual side of life.

The children's social movement of volunteers includes students of the MKOU "Chkalovskaya secondary school", teachers and parents in its ranks.

Today, for many, participation in the volunteer movement has become important and necessary. Children not only take part in the organization and conduct of socially useful actions, but also receive organizational skills, the opportunity for self-improvement and personal growth, teamwork experience, expanding the circle of communication and successful socialization in society.

We think, ultimately, showing mercy can lead people to want to help other people.

II stage. Collection and analysis of diverse information on the chosen problem

To implement the program, the students studied the legal documents: the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Convention on Human Rights, etc. The analysis of the documents made it possible to determine the scope of duties and the limits of what is permitted within the framework of the project. The legal framework allowed students to adequately respond to the process of interaction with other people.

The survey method was used to study the statistics of the existing problem.

We came to the following conclusions: All students and adults participating in the survey have a positive attitude towards mercy, caring for others. Although the concept of mercy is not defined correctly, it is gratifying that all 100% of the respondents are ready to help those in need. And we came to the conclusion that the action should be continued further, since not the entire contingent of those who wished was covered.

Within the framework of the "Do good" project, students of grades 1-11 of the MKOU "Chkalovskaya secondary school" held an action "Send to a Soldier" dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory and the Year of Literature. We collected a package for four soldiers:

David in Orenburg, Utnasun in Sverdlovsk, Sarlu in Astrakhan and Sanana in Rostov-on-Don. Our guys serve in these cities.

During the week, the children brought condensed milk, cookies, tea, gingerbread, sweets and other products for the soldiers. They also wrote letters to the soldiers and drew pictures.




Taking an active part in the events, the children thought: what is kindness, what a kind person is, what actions adorn him and why every day there is less and less goodness on earth. During the Week of Kindness, we set as our goal to create not only in the library, but also outside its walls an atmosphere of joy, warmth and kindness.

As everyone knows, in Japan the crane is a symbol of good luck, happiness, longevity. There is a legend directly related to the most significant and important origami figurine - the paper crane.

Once upon a time, a very poor master lived on earth, who devoted his whole life to origami and was surprisingly kind to everyone and everything that surrounded him. Once he met a wandering monk on the road and gave him a figurine of a crane. The monk was moved. He said, “Stack your pieces further. The main thing is your belief in their importance. Even if there is a war around, stay true to your art, and it will thank you by making you rich and famous.

Soon, as according to the prophecy of the monk, the war began. Only the poor master stubbornly continued to harass the paper on his figures. Angry, the people decided to burn down his workshop. But when they got into it, they were amazed by the variety and magnificence of the figurines. Then the master gave each figurine to their liking and taste. Before the eyes of the guests, the master turned a crane from a leaf, which immediately flapped its wings and flew away - it was a messenger of peace and goodness.

Each participant of the master class tried to make a crane out of paper, which we will all launch together at the school action "Crane of Peace" with a wish of peace and good. This will be our symbol of gratitude to those who defended peace on Earth.


13. Concert

On March 1, students and teachers visited a boarding school for the elderly and disabled with a festive concert “Do good”. The children took this event very seriously and responsibly.

The children's performances were warmly received. Children sang and danced. This was very well received by those present. The children presented handmade gifts to grandparents.






The purpose of such events is to remind the children what kindness is. Academician D.S. Likhachev wrote:“If a person lives to bring good to people, to ease their suffering in case of illness, to give people joy, then he evaluates himself at the level of humanity. Only a supra-personal goal allows a person to live his life with dignity and get real joy.
All people on earth have an understanding of what is good or what is evil, but even if all the parliaments of the world pass laws that command people to be kind and do good deeds, this will not change anything. You don't get good by force. No courts will force a person to be good in deeds and deeds. Because goodness is the soul of man. There is a soul - there is goodness. There is no soul - there is fear of punishment, but there is no goodness.

Analyzing the work done, we came to the conclusion that, in general, the social project has been implemented, the goal and objectives of the work done have been achieved.

The results of the work, in the form of printed materials, photographs, presentations, collections of scenarios, materials will be presented to the public: the project participants will talk aboutѐ m in the district newspaper "Altn bulg", questionnaires and interviews of persons participating in the project will be conducted in order to find out the prospects for continuing work in this direction, the results of the survey and interviews will be reflected in the school newspaper "School Bulletin".

We think the main resource for the development of civil society is a human resource, the rational use of which will help to significantly reduce material costs, maintain the necessary atmosphere of creativity and the desire for social achievements.

Work is underway to provide assistance (social, psychological, domestic) to needy citizens. Thus, the project makes it possible to improve the psychological state of the elderly, to create a feeling of being in demand among the older generation.

The implementation of the project also contributes to the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of young people, increasing their social activity and civic responsibility.

Many people take care of us, give us generously, but they expect from us, and we

enough power to do good to people. We can live with dignity in our difficult world only by learning to stick together, support, appreciate and respect each other. We must learn to take our lives seriously, to control our needs and desires. We need to develop respect for the elderly. Each person must learn to love people and then older people will see the world a little differently and they will want to talk about it.

We live in a complex world. Our society is overcoming a political, social, economic and environmental crisis. But the most terrible crisis remains in society - the moral one. At present, the cult of lack of spirituality and immorality is spreading more and more in Russia. This cult spreads the most different ways: television programs, the actions of political and public figures, the behavior of adults, etc. Despite the variety of methods, their essence is the imposition of stereotypes of aggressive and ruthless behavior towards others on a person, the neglect of moral standards for the sake of material gain. Today's children affirm tomorrow's well-being of the country, which depends entirely on good-quality upbringing. The problem of acquiring emotional and moral experience by a child is especially relevant today. If we are conscientious and kind, that is enough. Everything else will follow. We ourselves will choose from life, and absorb everything that is good and honest.

Today, the modern surrounding world does not contribute much to the natural development of moral values.

Meanwhile, the school is the only place where adults can help children form and assimilate such values ​​as kindness, responsiveness, mercy. We should not forget that we, children, are the future of Russia, but it depends on adults what this future will be like.

Lack of concern for one's neighbor, aggression towards our smaller brothers, indifference to what is happening in the world - has become an integral part of the behavior of adolescents. The lack of kindness in society has caused the need for education in young people social feelings.

  • In any, even economically strong country, there will always be a certain number of people who need special help from society. Therefore, the volunteer movement is the real force that directly helps those who need this help. And selfless work for the benefit of society brings people together, makes them more tolerant of each other, reduces the rigidity and lack of spirituality of our modern world. Consequently, the relevance of the volunteer movement for the upbringing of the younger generation is obvious and undeniable.

Objective of the project:

  • formation of an active life position, civic and moral qualities among young people

  • The number of volunteers among students and college staff has increased (only 95 people took part in the actions for November-December 2011, of which 40 are active participants in the volunteer movement)
  • Assistance, support and attention were provided to 87 veterans of the Second World War and vocational education at home
  • Actions "We remember ..." were held at the monuments of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War
  • They took part in intra-college and city charitable events “Give a holiday”, “Good”, etc.
  • Winners of city competitions of creative and research works on military-patriotic and social topics (the first place in 2010 and two runners-up in 2011)

The future of the project

Our project lives, develops, and we are sure that it will live for many years. Firstly, we are constantly in close contact with the Council of Veterans of the Tagansky District of the Central Administrative District, which informs us about those who need help. Secondly, we take an active part in charitable actions of city funds and social assistance services, and also respond to requests for help from the Volunteer Movement website. Thirdly, we are convinced that if a person begins to do good deeds, then they will certainly become his natural need. We are planning to expand the range of activities and diversify the forms of work (to take patronage over kindergartens, orphanages, perform outdoor concerts and hold joint events).

We are unable to provide significant financial assistance. But we are sure that with our kind attitude towards people and charity events we remove the crisis from the human soul and make people happy at least for a while!
