New Year invitation in Russian style. New Year in Russian folk style. The meaning of the name Raisa

Recently, one of my former colleagues from Krasnodar, with whom I periodically correspond by e-mail, wrote me an interesting letter. In it, she said that she and her friends recently had a party in French. And the organizer said that she got the idea from the blog of “one Krasnodar woman who moved to live in Canada.”

After a short deduction, my colleague and this girl realized that they both know me (one knows me live, the other from the blog) and read my posts! 🙂

Look, I knew the world was small... But not that small! I was very pleased that they still read me in my native Krasnodar. And they even use my advice-ideas-experience in their lives. So great!

Without delay, I decided to write about another party that we had with the girls a year ago. The party had a serious reason - the birthday of one of my girlfriends. But we held this event in the Russian style.

Usually in Canada, many girls have husbands who work constantly or are on business trips. That is why bachelorette parties are so popular here. While you wait for your husband from work to go to visit, it’s better to organize yourself and celebrate something with the women’s team.

My friend Katya, who had a birthday, lives in Calgary's companion town of Airdrie. It is located in the north, near the Calgary airport. I think that's why Airdrie has a large number of young ladies whose husbands often fly north to work. It is for this town that bachelorette parties are the most popular leisure time for women, “who are over 30”.

Katya is a good hostess, she and her husband have a cozy house and a very well-groomed yard. So visiting them is a pleasure. And here is another reason!

Lily and I began to prepare for this event, of course, in advance. I really wanted to make a congratulatory newspaper for the birthday girl with collage photos. I had photos of all Katya's family and friends, so the production of the newspaper progressed quickly and with pleasure.

Having some magazines with bright pictures in the house, you can make a wonderful fun cartoon newspaper. You just need to arrange cut out pictures of men, women, children, animals, houses, cars, various paraphernalia with real whole photographs of people or only with their heads, for example. Which is what we did.

There is no separate photo, the resulting newspaper can be seen in the background :)

I have already made such congratulatory newspapers here several times to my close friends and acquaintances. All this is taken with a bang! And, most importantly, you can look at such a newspaper for hours, each time finding new and new nuances 🙂

Since the party was planned in the Russian style, Katya and I prepared contests of the same direction:
- Composing ditties of cheerful content (Russian "folklore" language was welcome :).
– Intellectual quiz on Russian writers and their works.
- The same guessing game for Russian cities and events in them.
- And quotes from famous movies.
- Competition "Remember the song about flowers" (love, names ..) - one line from each person sitting at the table ...

The birthday girl was not bypassed directly. I named the dates, and everyone sitting at the table guessed some event in the life of the hero of the day. It was fun, fantasized enough 😉

At the appointed hour, everyone began to gather in the house of the birthday girl. A photo session was waiting for everyone who entered. Oh, and beauties appeared on the doorstep! Judge for yourself 🙂

Some girls brought with them dishes of Russian cuisine. Although the master's table was full of food. It's so great to eat rye bread, jelly, pancakes with caviar on Canadian soil ..

Lily also tried in advance and prepared a contest, which turned out to be the most spectacular and fun that evening. She made blanks for the Kokoshnik competition.

We also bought different stickers and beads to decorate these same hats. That's what came out of it.

The “Skillful Hands” circle at work after a hearty dinner 🙂

The girls were so inspired by the work done that everyone began to pose for photographers in new clothes with pleasure 🙂

And then, in general, our heads “blew off”, and we began to sing Russian songs under karaoke, imagining that we were the Pyatnitsky choir 🙂 The “conductor” diligently waved his hands 😉 The soloists were shouting in every way!

And when the dancing began, we realized that the evening was a success 😉

So, let the young ladies have some fun, so they will demolish the walls near the house!

We all o-really liked such a rich, interesting, fun party. All the guests had time to eat well and to mess around to their heart's content. The birthday girl was incredibly happy that everything went so wonderfully and naturally. After all, this time the company gathered a large one, some of them were strangers to each other. But still, the general idea of the holiday rallied everyone and made friends. And, most importantly, everyone will remember this Katya's birthday for a long time. And then at different meetings, the girls laughed, remembering the details of the party 🙂

Well, Lily and I have prepared another final surprise for everyone - a birthday cake. Of course, he also maintained a common theme - parties in Russian folk style.

You can also hold a contest of ditties, a game of blind man's buff, familiar to everyone since childhood, or dance competitions:

Idea. Celebrate in Russian style. Let there be folk dances, master classes of craftsmen, Russian treats and a fair.

Place. This holiday should be held in a vast clearing with the ability to install various structures (a place for a fair, places for sitting, places for master classes). Of course, if this is not possible and the holiday is planned for a small circle of people, then you just need a spacious room, and best of all, a clearing.

Menu. Russian dishes. Soups, dumplings, pastries, always pancakes with various fillings, pies, pies. Greens and vegetables, as well as fruits, also do not interfere.

Decor. All designs need to be decorated in a purely Russian style. It can be painting, embroidery, forging, woodcarving. You can save significantly on decor if some of the work is done with textiles. Draperies are good way quickly, cheaply and effectively decorate a space of any complexity.

Dress code. Guests need to come to the holiday in Russian outfits. At a minimum, you can wear red skirts or trousers, white shirts, jewelry.

Competitions and entertainment.

one). Competition for the creation of a new costume. From all those present, those wishing to participate in the competition are selected. They all approach the tables where the rolls of fabric lie. Fabric - red and white - is the material for creating a costume. Now all the contestants will be fashion designers and will try to create a new Russian costume. You can replace fabrics with paper - also red and white. To make the competition look as realistic as possible, the participants are also given two sticks-sticks. From these sticks you can build a primitive little man. All participants need to have time to create a character and dress him in 10 minutes.

2). Competition "Gzhel". From all those present, several pairs of two people are selected. One person in a pair must agree to a short time his face became a "canvas". On this "canvas" the second person will create a Gzhel pattern. The organizers give out a set of blue and white paint, as well as brushes and give 5 minutes of time to create a pattern. The couple with the most votes for their work wins. At the festival, such a competition can be held without stopping - so that everyone can participate. And those who won will be given a small souvenir with a Gzhel ornament.

3). Contest "Guess the pies". This competition is best suited for children. If there are children at the party, then feel free to instruct them to guess what the pies are on the table with. For the competition, many pies with different fillings are baked. The children take turns approaching the table and pointing to the pie that the adults had previously placed on the dish. The leader at the table asks “What is the pie with?”, and the child answers “I think the pie is with ...”. The one who guessed what the pie is with gets it as a prize. All pies should be in different baskets, and only the presenter should know where and which pies are.

four). Round dances. Of course, dancing is an integral part of such a holiday. Learn some traditional moves and songs. And you can also mix folk music with another direction, for example, with rap music, and hold an unusual dance master class.

5). Competition "Create a whistle". What can whistles be made of? Clay, of course! Here, at this competition, participants are invited to create their own clay whistle. Of course, it is best that this is generally a master class.

6). Competition "Russian Fair". It can be carried out in parallel, or it can be included in the program of the main competitions. All comers are given sets of handicrafts. It can be souvenirs, clothes, jewelry. The winner in the competition is the one who, during the celebration, will be able to sell the largest number of items to other participants and earn the largest amount of money for this.

At the fair, you can also taste pancakes from different housewives and give a prize to the one that gets the most positive feedback from guests.

Russian village history

Russian village, at the beginning of the 21st century leaves a double impression. On the one hand - the magnificent nature of central Russia, a rather rich fauna, dense forests with abundant coniferous vegetation and, of course, a desirable vacation spot for fishermen. Nature also did not offend central Russia by the quantity and quality of reservoirs, although the statement about the quality of reservoirs is very subjective, since the author is not an ecologist, and cannot give an objective assessment. Just a personal impression based on visual perception. And accordingly, the absence of industrial enterprises and other "benefits of civilization" in the visibility zone also influenced the formation of a subjective opinion.

People in the villages come across different, as well as all over the world. But what is remembered is the hospitality and openness of the older generation, and the ability to work with the hands of the younger. Not everywhere and not all, well, this is again a personal vision. Who came across aggressive, drunken representatives of the local population, well, this happens. From personal experience, I can say that sometimes local craftsmen can repair anything for you: from a house and a car to a vase and an iron. Again, I don’t pretend to be the ultimate truth, if someone tried with the help of local hard workers to repair a smartphone or a GPS navigator, then, as they say, no comment ...

Here is a brief look at Russian village. As for recreation, this is not a vacation "by the savage at sea" and not a vacation in a fashionable foreign hotel. It's something of its own. This is some kind of emotional rest. It is worth noting that it is better to go on a rural holiday with a company, it will be fun, plus a change of scenery, as a rule, has a positive effect on people's emotions. The general picture of recreation in the village is as follows - nature, Fresh air, cool river, wonderful starry sky; in the presence of creatively minded groups of citizens, many positive emotions.

Music of the Russian village

Russian villages are characterized by their historical roots and traditions. The chanting of the songs of past centuries is a great example of this.

Among the main genres of folk music of the Russian countryside, one can single out calendar ritual songs, wedding, epic, dance and lyrical songs. Folk music was more song than instrumental (perhaps under the influence of the church ban on musical instruments in the temple); ditties were performed. Folk instruments in folklore are usually used in the life of shepherds or for certain types of dances and songs. The most common are: string instruments (balalaika, horn, harp), wind instruments (pipe, zhaleyka / horn, kugikly (Pan's flute). The annals mention: military pipes, hunting horns, tambourines. Instruments sometimes associated with Russian music, such as bayan (accordion), mandolin, guitar, are instruments of Western European origin, and spread in Russia relatively late (XIX-XX centuries).

Folk costumes of the Russian village

Differing in individual elements, Russian folk clothing of the northern and southern regions contains common basic features, and in the men's suit there is more commonality, in the women's - differences.

Men's suit

Men's suit consisted of a shirt-kosovorotka with a low stand or without it and narrow pants made of canvas or krashin. A shirt made of white or colored canvas was worn over trousers and girded with a belt or a long woolen sash. The decorative solution of the kosovorotki is embroidery on the bottom of the product, the bottom of the sleeves, the neck. Embroidery was often combined with inserts of a fabric of a different color, the location of which emphasized the design of the shirt (partial seams in the front and back, gussets, neck lining, line connecting the sleeve with the armhole).

Outerwear was a zipun or caftan made of homespun cloth, wrapping on the left side, with a fastener with hooks or buttons (Fig. 2, right), in winter - sheepskin naked fur coats.

Men's shoes - boots or bast shoes with onuchs and frills.

Woman suit

The main parts of the women's folk costume were a shirt, an apron, or a curtain, a sundress, a poneva, a bib, a shushpan.

The women's shirt, like the men's, was straight cut, with long sleeve. The white canvas of the shirt was decorated with a red embroidery pattern located on the chest, shoulders, at the bottom of the sleeves and along the bottom of the product. The most complex, multi-figure compositions with a large pattern (fantastic female figures, fabulous birds, trees), reaching a width of 30 cm, were located along the bottom of the product. Each part of the shirt had its own traditional ornamental solution.

The layering of the costume, which had different lengths of simultaneously worn shirts, poneva, apron, bib, created a horizontal articulation of the silhouette, visually expanding the figure. In Russian folk costume ancient headdresses and the custom for married woman hide hair, for a girl - leave it uncovered. This custom is due to the form of a female headdress in the form of a closed cap, a girl's - in the form of a hoop or bandage. Kokoshniks, "magpies", various bandages and crowns are widespread.

From jewelry used pearl, beaded, amber, coral necklaces, pendants, beads, earrings.

Women's shoes leather ankle boots, cats trimmed at the top with red cloth or morocco, as well as bast shoes with onuchs and frills served.
