Beautiful crochet hexagonal motif - a master class with step-by-step photos and explanations for the pattern. Beautiful crochet hexagonal motif - a master class with step-by-step photos and explanations for the scheme 6 charcoal crochet motif patterns

I found on the Internet a very beautiful outwardly hexagonal motif crocheted, and there’s also a scheme for it - it’s generally wonderful - you don’t need to invent anything! I decided to knit, and at the same time share with you, what if this is exactly the hexagonal crochet motif that you have been looking for for a long time?

Naturally, I have this beautiful hexagonal motif crocheted a little not according to the attached scheme ... All because of my carelessness ... I can’t do anything about it ... I don’t want to bandage it ... and naturally the photos of my motive will not differ much from the original scheme

Beautiful crochet hexagonal motif - diagram

Receptions and materials:

For knitting, we will use the following techniques and abbreviations in the text:

VP - air loop

SS - connecting post

RLS - single crochet

CCH - double crochet

overhead posts

In addition, for knitting we need the remains of four different colors yarn of equal thickness (colors at your discretion) and, accordingly, a hook. In my case, this is “Children's Caprice” yarn (pink, lettuce, white and green) and hook No. 1.7

How to crochet a hexagonal motif with a beautiful flower - Master class

First (thread color pink), we make the initial ring and knit 2 lifting VPs + 11 RLS into it. (lifting loops replace the first column of the row, remember?) - the first row. Close SS.
- consists of double crochets with a common base and a common top.

We knit: Z lifting VP, 4 CCH with a common top, from where the lifting loops were made, 3 VP, skip the loop. Further in every second loop bottom row we make a combination * 5 CCH with a common base and a common top + 3 VP *. We end the row with a connecting column in a loop above the first group of columns with a crochet of the bottom row, while changing the color of the yarn
- 1 ch lift, * 1 ch, 5 sc under a chain of 3 air loops of the bottom row, ** repeat ** to the end, sl-st lifting loop + sl-st in air loop bottom row (which is located above the petal)
4 row (salad) - the whole row consists of double groups of 3 double crochets with one top, between which there are 3 VPs and air loops between these groups.

We knit:

3 lifting VPs, 2 CCHs with a common vertex under the VP of the bottom row, 3VP and 3 more CCHs with one vertex under the same loop, 5 VPs. Next, under each air loop we knit a combination * 3 CCH with a common top + 3 VP + 3 CCH with a common top *, and between ** we do 5 VP to the end of the row
We close the row with a connecting column into the loop of the first petal of the bottom row and make another SS into the air loop following the petal, while changing the color of the yarn (pink)

- 3 lifting VPs, 6SN under the arch of 3 VPs of the lower row, 3 VPs, * 7SN under the next arch of 3 air loops of the lower row, 3 VPs *, ** repeat to the end of the row, SS in the third lifting loop.
6 row (pink) - 2 VP lifting (replace the first single crochet), RLS in next loop, VP, without skipping loops, we do RLS + 1VP only 4 times, above the last two columns of this fan - single crochet without VP. 3 VP.

The algorithm is as follows: over each loop of a fan of 7 CCHs of the bottom row, a single crochet is knitted, and after the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, an air loop is also made. And between these fans 3 VP. We finish the row, as usual, with a connecting column, plus SS over the next column, where we change yarn

(change color - lettuce)

- Lifting VP, RLS in the gap from the VP between the RLS of the lower row ... Here the meaning is this: Above each VP we do RLS, and between them the VP ... Well, in addition, between these groups there are 5 air loops. SS in the lifting loop. We reach the connecting posts to the second RLS above the fan and change the color (green)

Rows with overhead posts

The next row with overhead posts. What are these overhead columns, we already know, well, but for those who are not in the subject,. And as mentioned earlier, absolutely any columns can be invoices ... In this case, the invoice column looks like a lush triple CCH with one base and a common top.

According to the proposed scheme, such columns are made under a chain of air loops of the 4th row.
I also knitted like this ... Now I regret it ... I should have tried to make an overhead column in the loops of the 3rd row.

Why? I'll tell you at the end of the article.

So, we continue to crochet a hexagon ...

8 row (green) - 1 lifting VP, RLS under the middle VP above the fan of the bottom row (see diagram), 5 VP, * overhead column of 3 CCH with a common top under the chain of VP of the 4th row, 5 VP *, ** to the end of the row, SS, change color to white
9 row (white) - 2VP lift, SSN in the RLS of the lower row, VP, 2SSN, VP, 2SSN, VP. Here I made overhead posts in the loops of the 7th row

The principle for each petal is this: under each arch of the five VPs of the bottom row we knit (2DCS + VP) * 2 times, VP, then 2DCS in the RLS of the bottom row, and then again (VP + 2DC) * 2 times. Air loop between petals.

At the end of the row, a connecting column and changing the color to pink.

10 row (pink) - We act according to the scheme ... In each air loop of the lower row we make 3 dc with a common top (3 VP between them), and 2 VP between the petals. SS with color change to green

11 row (green) - the entire row of RLS + overhead 3SSN with a common top (between the petals) to the top of the triple column Green colour underlying 7th row. Please note that for the RLS petal, under the chains from the VP of the bottom row, they are knitted according to the 4 + 5 + 4 pattern. And between the petals - 2SBN, 3 overhead CCH with a common top and again 2 RLS

Let's look at the diagram.

12 row (green) - CCH in each RLS of the lower row, in the central loop of each petal, 3 CCH

As a result, we get a knitted motive ... and not just a motive ... but ...

Which looks great in the photo...

And if you change the colors a little, you won’t take your eyes off at all ...

Why did I not like this beautiful hexagonal motif?

And everything is very simple ... I can’t imagine the area for its application ...

The fact is that the motif, despite the fact that it is completely knitted from the same type of yarn (only in different colors), has a different density ... somewhere it is soft, and somewhere very thick ... and this is not surprising ...

Because when knitting the motif, overhead posts were used, which give the fabric an excessive “thickness”. The knitting is not uniform ... that's why row number 8 had to be knitted according to the second option ... Or try to strictly adhere to the author's scheme, which I personally just don't know how to do)))

The yarn from which I crocheted a hexagonal motif is thin ... and yet it turned out to be rough in places ... and rather large, even for knitting slippers too big ...

So there will be no sequel.

Today's master class will tell you how to crochet hexagonal motifs with patterns that are better than ever for creating blankets, pillows, napkins, fishnet tops and dresses ... Arm yourself with yarn and hooks, it will be interesting!

Selection of schemes

Hello, friends!

Today we have new topic: crochet - hexagonal motifs. I cooked large selection schemes from simple to beautiful openwork motifs and ideas of what things can be knitted from them.

All photos are taken from open Internet sources, they were mostly published on foreign websites and in magazines.

From hexagons you can connect great amount various items, including for comfort in the house. And depending on the product, it can be simple dense motifs or elegant openwork ones. Things from colored motifs look especially beautiful and bright.

Choose the scheme of your choice.

Crochet hexagonal motifs - simple patterns

To crochet a hexagonal motif, the easiest one is to make a sliding loop and knit several double crochets (or single crochets) into it. Moreover, this number must be a multiple of six, i.e. 6 or 12.

In the second row in each loop you need to knit two columns.

In the third row - in every second column.

In the fourth - in every third.

Those. in fact, about the same as when knitting a circle. But in order to form a hexagon, increments must always be performed over the same column of the previous row, and when knitting a circle, each time to make an offset.

To make it even easier and the pattern more interesting, use a diagram.

sunflower motifs

A very popular pattern among needlewomen is a sunflower motif, it is also very simple, and you can knit in different colors and get other types of flowers, the same chamomile, for example.

How to tie a simple sunflower, you can see in the video.

As well as other suitable schemes:

Afghan hexagonal motif flower

The Afghan motif fell in love with many, and not only the hexagonal one, it is notable for the fact that a beautiful flower adorns its middle.

The scheme is in front of you, as well as a video lesson on how to knit such a motif.

Schemes of beautiful openwork hexagonal motifs

Such motifs are useful for knitting tablecloths, curtains and other things. Moreover, according to some schemes, you can even knit an independent product from just one motive - a tack, a snowflake, a small napkin.

Crochet Hexagonal Motifs

You can knit anything from hexagonal motifs:

  • and dresses, and skirts, and tops
  • stoles
  • slippers, shoes, boots
  • pillows
  • napkins, tablecloths, coasters
  • rugs
  • blankets
  • bags
  • toys
  • needle beds.

Depending on the type of product, we buy the yarn we need: acrylic or acrylic with wool is suitable for blankets, cotton thread for pillows and bags, thicker yarn for rugs, and thin cotton threads for napkins and tablecloths.

According to the thickness of the thread and the number of the hook we use.

Check out some photos to see what happens.

bags

To crochet a bag from hexagonal motifs, you can take any pattern, but here I will give a pattern for assembling motifs.

Slippers, boots

The photo shows boots from hexagonal motifs crocheted by Larisa Sankevich from our long-standing competition. Detailed description work can be viewed.

Toys, needle cases

The Afghan motif is mainly used here, but you need to know the layout schemes in each individual case.

Tablecloths, napkins, coasters

Rugs

Plaids

It seems to me that a crochet plaid with hexagonal motifs is such a field of activity, you can use all kinds of colors, patterns, and pick up the remnants of yarn.

A relative novelty among them is a very beautiful plaid of seven types of motifs with different colors, which are called the colors of Frida by the name of their creator.

I post schemes of multi-colored flowers in hexagons, and you can help to figure out their knitting (the first motive) from the video, although it is not in Russian.

I think the rest of the lessons will not be difficult to find.

How to crochet hexagonal motifs

In blankets, rugs, bags and other products, as a rule, the connection of ready-made motifs is performed.

To do this, the motifs are steamed with an iron, folded face inward with each other, combining the edges, and crocheted, capturing only the extreme loops, with connecting posts.

In this case, the motifs are arranged among themselves in a checkerboard pattern and an uneven broken edge of the product is obtained. If desired, it is left in this form, tying all the work around the perimeter with rows of single crochets.

To get a rectangular product with a smooth edge, you will have to knit more halves of the motifs, or fill in the gaps between the motifs along the edges with columns with a different number of crochets: first in ascending order, then in descending order. For example: 2СБН, 2С1Н, 3С2Н, 2С1Н, 2СБН.

Crochet hexagonal motifs Crochet hexagonal motifs look great. You can crochet a set of clothes and a handbag using these hexagonal crochet motifs. In this tutorial, we will look at a very simple and beautiful motif which will be useful to you at any time of the year. With it, you can knit both cozy little things for the house and clothes. Another definite plus is the ease of implementation.

Hexagon, who is this!

The hexagon can be different, but ours is correct. ? Hexagon is another name for a regular hexagon. We will not go into mathematical details, just remember this name in order to know what in question. After all, it appears in the descriptions and is simply necessary to search for foreign descriptions. ? Our hexagon is connected very simply. It consists of only three rows, but the size is quite large. Although, it all depends on the yarn and hook you choose. Connecting motives is very simple to do, but more on that below. Let's get started! 1. Initial loop on the hook 2. Chain of 6 stitches
3. We close the chain in a circle using a connecting post
4. First row. Three air lifting loops
5. A column with two crochets in the center of the circle from the chain. Do not forget to apply the "tail" along the chain of air loops, so it will hide in the center of the columns.
6. Another double crochet in the center of the circle
7. 3 air loops
8. Three columns with two crochets in the center of the circle
9. 3 air loops
10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 4 more times. In total, we will get 6 segments of 3 columns with two crochets. Lifting loops are counted as a column
11. We close the row with the help of a connecting post in the upper lifting loop
12. The first row will look like this
13. The “tail” is firmly hidden in the columns of the first row and can be cut off
14. Now I will do the thread change. If you knit in one color, then at this stage you can not stop. Additional air loop
15. Cut off the thread. Pull the hook expanding the loop until the thread slips out of the loop.
Attaching a thread of a different color 16. Second row. We make the initial loop on a new thread
17. Look closely at the photo. We attach the tail along the chain of three air loops
18. We thread the hook into the arch of three air loops, put on a loop of another thread
19. Pull the loop through the arch
20. Three air lifting loops
21. Column with two crochets in the arch. Do not forget that we hide the "tails" in the center of the columns
22. One air loop
23. Two columns with two crochets in the same arch into which the previous columns are connected
24. Two air loops
25. Two columns with two crochets in the next arch
26. Air loop, two columns with two crochets in the same arch
27. Two air loops
28. Repeat steps 25-27 4 more times
29. We close the row with the help of a connecting column in the upper air lifting loop
