Master class Corrugated paper peonies

For works would need:

- corrugatedfloristic paper green and cherry (may be your choice) colors;

Thin wire 0.5 cm for leaves;

Thick wire for the stem;

Cardboard circle, 4.5 cm in diameter;

Thermal gun;

Scissors;

A ping pong ball or a capsule from a kinder surprise;

Pencil;

Ruler;

Floral tape (or you should cut strips of green in advance corrugated paper 1 cm wide. and stretch it).

1. From cherry corrugated paper cut out 8 strips of 20 cm wide and 5 high.

2. Fold each in half and in half again

3. cut along the edges, leaving about 0.5 cm to the edge and make 2 more similar cuts in the middle.

4. Cut off the corners of the resulting three segments, make "Flags"

5. Expand the resulting workpiece and twist the tips with your fingers

6. We expand each segment in the middle, as if we are forming a petal.

7. Randomly collect the resulting petals into a bouquet. IMPORTANT! So that the bottom of the workpiece is at the same level. And tightly tied with a thread. We do the same with the other stripes.

8. Cut out cherry paper 20-25 rectangle measuring 7.5 cm high and 3 cm wide for the outer petals. And 20-25 rectangles measuring 7.5 cm high and 1.5 cm wide.

9. Cut the petals out of all the rectangles

10. We form the inner petals. To do this, stretch the middle of each narrow petal with your fingers and bend the petal a little inward. we do the whole operation with all the narrow petals.

11. Let's start forming the outer petals. To do this, we stretch each large petal onto a ping-pong ball or a capsule from a kinder surprise. If there is nothing like that, you can just stretch it with your hands.

12. We start assembling the flower, for this we glue the inner petals of 8-9 pieces on the cardboard circle, so that the petals wrap inside the flower.

13. Then we glue the blanks connected with a thread into the middle. One in the center, the rest in a circle.

14. We turn over the resulting bud base and start gluing small petals on the reverse side so that they are between the petals of the inner layer.

15. When all the small petals are glued, we begin to glue the large petals with the top layer, but we glue them a little further from the center than the small ones.

16. Our bud is ready

17. Let's start creating a stem for our flower. To do this, take a thick wire and fold it with a ring from one end twice.

18. Then the wire must be wrapped with floral tape or strip corrugated paper to give it color.

19. Now glue the stem to the flower.

20. From paper green color, cut out 8 rectangles measuring 6 cm high and 3 long and cut off their corners - we form a leaf by stretching the middle.

21. Glue the leaves to the junction of the stem with the bud.

22. From paper green color cut out 5 rectangles 6 cm wide and 10 high. And cut them diagonally. And fold the halves as shown in the photo.

23. Cut 5 pieces of 15 cm from thin wire.

24. We glue the halves with adjacent edges, inserting the wire between them.

25. From the resulting blanks we form leaflets, cutting off the upper corners and rounding them. And we bend the received petals and "animate" them.

26. Wrap with floral tape or strip corrugated paper stalks of leaves. Then we connect everything together, forming one large branch with leaves. Then we attach the resulting twig to the stem with a floral tape or strip corrugated paper.

Our flower is ready!

Good evening, dear colleagues, a master class is presented to your attention " flower fantasy". I'll tell you how easy and interesting it is from the henchmen.

In November, we celebrate one of the main and wonderful holidays - equally important for all people - Mother's Day. It is customary to give on holidays.

You will need: - multi-colored corrugated paper - scissors - thin wire - PVA glue - a vase (a ball of woolen threads) 1. Prepare.

Dear colleagues! I present to your attention a master class on making wood from a sheet of whatman paper and corrugated paper using a double.

Corrugated paper poppies will be an excellent decor element for any room, holiday. I offer a master class for educators and parents.

The beginning of summer is the time for peonies to bloom, but they fade very quickly. And so you want to admire the delicate and sophisticated flowers both in a dank autumn and in a icy winter! Everyone can perform a small miracle and make a realistic, delicate and beautiful crepe paper peony with their own hands.

A bouquet made up of such flowers will not fade and will perfectly decorate the interior in any style.

A few words about peonies

Like the Dutch have tulips, the Japanese have chrysanthemums, the peony has been China's favorite national flower for over 1,500 years. In our country, this plant is also popular and is quite common in gardens. There are several:

  • thin-leaved;
  • drug;
  • lactiflora;
  • Wittmann;
  • Mlokosevich.

If you make a do-it-yourself peony from corrugated paper, then information about the types of structure of the flowers of this plant may be useful.

They are:

1. Non-double (simple) - with many stamens and five or more petals arranged in one row.

2. Semi-double:

  • anemone - with one row of wide petals, in the center of which are modified stamens, painted in the same color as the petals;
  • Japanese - consist of wide petals (of which there are 5 or more) located around a dense disk with many modified stamens, usually painted yellow;
  • typically semi-double - distinguished by a multitude of petals laid in two or three rows, with large quantity real stamens.

3. Terry - a flower in such plants consists of many petals. The following subgroups are distinguished:

  • hemispherical - with narrow and strongly dissected inner and wide outer petals;
  • rose-shaped - as a rule, they have flowers of a somewhat flattened shape, consisting of compactly assembled narrow inner and wide outer petals;
  • semi-pink - very similar to the previous species, differ only in the presence of a small number of stamens in the center;
  • crowned - the most complex peonies in terms of the structure of the flower: wide petals are located in the first outer single row, then narrow ones; the core consists of wide petals raised in the form of a crown.

Material Features

Originally crinkled or, as it is more commonly called, corrugated paper was used as a lining material for hats. Over time, such paper began to be used for the manufacture of various crafts.

There are several types of it, depending on the degree of compression and the size of the folds. To make peonies, hyacinths, roses and others, the so-called crepe paper is best suited, velvety, soft and delicate, with fine corrugation.

Everything you need

Before you start manufacturing, you need to prepare the following:

Preparatory work

If you decide to make a do-it-yourself peony from corrugated paper, for greater realism it is better to take not color, but white. The latter can be painted, getting a naturalistic color of the petals. Food coloring must be diluted in water. To color the inner petals, you can take a more saturated red, and for the outer petals, mix yellow and red. We cut out square blanks from white wrinkled paper and gently immerse them in the prepared dye. When the paper is soaked, take it out and let the excess moisture drain. The resulting blanks can be dried by placing on a saucer and drying for 20-30 seconds in the microwave.

Before coloring all the petals, try to paint a few blanks and look at the correct selection of the proportions of dyes.

Making the core

While the prepared blanks are drying, we make a base on which we will collect a peony from corrugated paper with our own hands.

  1. We collect the core of the flower: we make a ball the size of a walnut from cotton wool or paper.
  2. We wrap a wooden skewer or wire prepared in advance with green paper or tape smeared with glue.
  3. On a double-sided adhesive tape we glue the threads for embroidery, cut into pieces of 3-5 cm.
  4. We fix the resulting blank on the core of the flower - as a result, you should get a small yellow brush.

We collect a flower

Before collecting voluminous peonies from corrugated paper, you need to cut out heart-shaped petals from painted blanks. Internal (3-5 cm) should be smaller than external (5-7 cm). To give the petals a more realistic look, use your fingers to stretch the paper both across and along and give the necessary rounded shape.

Around the finished core, starting from the inside, we glue the petals until the flower reaches the desired size. We carefully straighten them so that the do-it-yourself peony made of corrugated paper looks somewhat careless, like a real flower.

An easier option

The method presented above requires perseverance and accuracy, besides, it is quite laborious, but there is an easier and simpler way. This will require several multi-colored pieces of corrugated paper 25-40 cm long, depending on the size and color of the flower you want (for example, pink, purple and orange). To make peony flowers from corrugated paper, follow these steps:

Doing with children

Let's look at another easy way to make a paper peony. It is suitable for joint creativity with children. From the materials you need only corrugated paper bright color, wire, scissors and glue.

So let's get started:

  • cut out five to seven rectangles of 20-25x15 cm in size from crumpled paper;
  • each of them is folded with an "accordion", 5-7 folds each;
  • we collect the rectangle folded "accordion" in the middle;
  • round the petals on both sides of the paper with scissors;
  • we do all these procedures with each of the prepared rectangles;
  • we connect them together with a thin wire;
  • glue a wooden skewer or wire with green paper;
  • on the resulting stem we attach the formed flower;
  • straighten the petals, bending them in or out with your fingers.

Thus, it is quite simple to do it in stages and decorate your home with them or give such an elegant bouquet to your loved ones.

You will need:

    corrugated paper for petals;

    balloon;

    glue gun;

  • thick thread or cord;

  • wire;

    set of metal eyelets;

  • stationery glue;

    masking tape;

Progress

1. Inflate the balloon so that its diameter is about 25 cm. Cover the balloon with newspaper using the papier-mâché method.

2. When the newspaper dries well, cut the sphere into 3 parts (a wide "belt" and 2 "tops"), as in the photo. The lower part, where the ball was tied, we no longer need.

3. Connect the resulting parts so that the smaller part is inside the structure. It will become the basis of a giant flower for a photo shoot.

4. Fix the edges by threading over the edge.

5. For strength, treat the edge with hot glue.

6. Hide the seam with masking tape.

7. Take care of reliable fastenings - punch holes with grommets and pull the wire, for which you can hang the flower.

8. Below are the petal templates that will be used to create the giant flower for the photo shoot. Transfer them to cardboard and cut them out. Then, from corrugated paper, prepare the indicated number of petals of each type.

No. 2 - 18 pcs.

No. 3 - 20 pcs.

No. 4 - 15 pcs.

No. 5 - 12 pcs.

No. 6 - 12 pcs.

No. 9 - 20 pcs.

No. 10 - 15 pcs.

9. To make the petals voluminous, stretch them a little in the widest part.

10. Lubricate the base of the petal number 10 with hot glue (using only 8 pieces in this row).

11. Attach it to the inside of a giant flower frame for a photo shoot.

Glue the second and third petal in the same way as in the photo. Here you can clearly see how they should overlap each other and look from the side.

13. Spread the base of the petal and squeeze it.

14. Glue petals number 2. Put some of them below, others a little higher. This way you will give a giant flower for a photo shoot a natural look.

16. The third row should be 1-1.5 cm lower than the previous one. Petals number 3 are glued even more randomly.

17. Glue petals number 4 in the same way as petals number 3. When you complete this row, the giant flower for the photo shoot will be almost ready.

18. Petals No. 5 and 6 are used.

19. Place the middle of the orange paper in the center.

20. Now take the petals number 7. Curl their edges by stretching.

21. To cup the petals, make a pinch at their base.

22. Glue them along the outer edge of the frame to hide it.

23. Do the same with petals No. 8 and 9, lowering the level of each subsequent row.

24. Glue the remaining petals No. 10 as shown in the photo. This will completely hide the design from the newspaper.

Such a huge peony can be made as original gift for mom, grandmother, girlfriend, sister ... for a birthday, March 8 or another holiday. They will definitely never forget this flower, because it will be very big and beautiful!
Also, if desired, this peony can be modified into an original hat!

To create a peony you will need:
2 - 3 rolls of corrugated paper of a suitable color;
glue;
needle with thread;
a balloon about 2 times the size of your head if you want to make a hat out of it, or a slightly smaller balloon if you want to make a simple peony; (note that the ball needs a regular rounded shape)
newspapers - will be needed to make papier mache bases.

First of all, you will need to make a blank for the peony using the papier-mâché technique and balloon. The balloon must be inflated and tied.
Papier-mâché means "chewed paper" in French. The whole wisdom of the papier-mâché technique lies in pasting some form with pieces of soft paper in several layers. In our case, we will glue the balloon with paper.
Tearing the newspaper with your hands (never cut it with scissors!) into small pieces, paste over the entire surface of the mold (ball) with them.
Lubricate the first layer of paper with glue and stick the second layer. In order not to get confused where which layer is, take paper of a different color for the second layer.
Thus, paste over the form with several layers of paper. The glue will need to be allowed to dry for several hours, it is even advisable to put the ball aside for a day. Then the balloon must be gently deflated or burst.
Carefully cut off the rounded "lid" of the papier-mâché blank, approximately 6.5 - 7 cm from the top of the ball.

Now turn the lid upside down and insert into the second part of the balloon.

Now sew both parts with thread, connecting them together. After that, soak the entire edge with glue for better strength (over the threads).

Now petals. Petals will need to be cut in different shapes. The shape is shown in the photos below and the different shapes are numbered.
The grid with markup displays their size in inches! Therefore, the maximum petal height is not 7 cm, but 7 inches, i.e. almost 17 cm!
1 inch = 2.54 cm.

Also here the width of the widest petal at number 6 = 23 cm.

The height of the petal at number 7 = 20.3 cm.

Each petal will need to be cut in at least 10 pieces.
In the end, we will need to make a few more large petals, but about them a little later.
We begin to collect peony.
Standard technique for all petals:
Gently stretch the petal out from the center to create a "dish" shape, then fold the bottom of the petal back. For this part of the petal, we will glue it to the base.
Now for the numbers. Petal number 1.
These petals are used to create the center of the bud. Take one petal and fold it in half at the bottom, glue the junction with glue. Take another similar petal and wrap the first one around it, also gluing the edges with glue at the base. Lubricate the lower part of the workpiece with glue and glue it to the center of our base.

Petals should peek out from behind the edges of the base.

Note: To make it convenient for you to work, you can place the workpiece in a wide vase.
Add a few more (10 pieces) of these petals around the base of the bud, placing them a little further.

Before moving on, glue the edge of the blank with corrugated paper of the same color as the petals.

Continue to create the flower using petals numbered 2 - 5. The author of the tutorial used 8 petals numbered 2 - 4 and four petals numbered 5.

Petals number 5 come last, so they will need to be carefully glued to the base.

Now we need large petals numbered 6t. Four of these petals must be placed on the outside of the workpiece, so that their tops reach the tops of neighboring petals.

Now we need petals at number 8. They will need quite a lot. They will need to be stretched from the center in the same way as the other petals, plus the top of the petal needs to be twisted onto a tube or brush.
Cover with these petals in a circle most of the remaining space. You will need about 25 - 30 of these petals.
Now cut out large petals from which you can form "bowls". Glue them to the very base, as shown in the example.
Fill in the gaps with small petals and then fold our large final petals over to the flower and lightly glue them at the base.

If you will use this flower as a fun hat, then the inside of the papier-mâché blank must be sealed with a cloth. And also you will need to glue or sew on beautiful ribbons of the tie.

In this master class, we will make peonies from our own hands. I will show only one of the options, on the Internet you can find many photo and video tutorials on making peonies from corrugated paper and sweets. In addition to paper, I saw microns on which this flower is collected from foamiran, satin ribbons, beads and even clay. But it seems to me that the most delicate, “fluffy” peonies are obtained in my way and it is not at all difficult to make them. How to make other flowers, for example, or, see in the same section.

Step by step master class

For one flower, cut out 10 pieces of red corrugated paper 10 cm by 10 cm.

We cut out such circles from them, that is, we simply cut off the corners of our paper squares.

And we give our roundels the shape of a petal. It is more convenient to cut them out by folding 3 leaves together, and so much faster. Let them be the same, there's nothing to worry about.

We take the first circle and screw our candy attached to a toothpick exactly in the middle.

And so with each subsequent circle.

We fix the bottom of the last petal. This can be done with a thread by tying a toothpick, or you can simply glue the bud to the "stalk" on the PVA.

For a sepal of green corrugated paper, we cut out a blank of this shape. The size is 5 cm in height and 8 cm in length.

And glue.

Peonies from colored corrugated paper can be made in any shade. In nature, the most common colors are white, pink, yellow and purple.
