With threads of a contrasting color, we collect 45 loops on long needles with stubs. Tie the ends of the thread into a knot and cut off. Next, we knit with the main threads in garter stitch, leaving the tip of the main thread 100 centimeters long.
Garter stitch - these are all facial rows. If you look at such a canvas from one side, then it will be an alternation of front and back rows.

Having knitted 26 rows (you may have a different number of rows), on a knitting pin, we remove 16 loops from the side of the fabric where we left the tip of the main thread. Thus, these 16 loops are temporarily out of work. Later, these loops will become the length of the torso.
And so, 29 loops remained in the work, which will later become the length of the leg. We knit further 8 rows in the same garter stitch. We leave the end of the thread of the last row 150 centimeters long from the side of the bottom of the leg.

Received two exactly the same parts. Next, we sew them with one of the ends of the thread, which were left at the beginning of knitting, and are now on top of the body. We use the same "knit stitch". We sew in the direction from top to bottom to the leg armhole, and further from the armhole up with one solid seam. One of the ends of the thread 100 centimeters, left at the beginning of knitting, will not be needed. But, as mentioned above, we will use thread trimming in the next master class.

The jumpsuit is almost ready. It remains to tie the cavity for attaching the lace in the place of the shoulder girdle in front and behind. With the help of a lace, we will fix the overalls on the body of the doll.

First, let's count the number of edge holes in the upper edge of the overalls. I got 28. I leave it unknitted one at a time in the places of the armholes. We split the rest in half. That is, for the front cavity there are 13 edge holes and 13 for the back. 28=13+1+13+1.

We begin a set of loops along the upper edge of the front of the jumpsuit. To do this, take a small ball (skein) thread. We leave the tip of the thread 200 centimeters long, and we collect two loops from each edge hole: the front loop and the yarn over. From 13 edge holes, 25 loops are obtained. Since the last loop cannot be double crochet, we knit the last edge hole as one front loop.
After a set of loops, we return to the left tip of the thread 200 centimeters, and it is with this thread that we continue to knit the cavity. And the thread from the skein or ball is still out of work.

We knit with a double elastic band 4-6 rows (an even number of rows is required). Double ribbing is knitted in much the same way as regular ribbing.
