scenario plan

carnival celebrations

"FUNNY SHIRT"

Venue: Poklonnaya Gora

Time from 12.00 to 16.00

Moscow 2012

The proposed scenario plan is based on the idea and concept of M. Zadornov, about the revival in Moscow of the tradition of carnival-Maslenitsa. All peoples have such carnivals. Only not everyone today knows about it and remembers it. After all, the holiday of Maslenitsa is always a holiday bright colors and colors, vivid emotions and national costumes, songs and legends, competition of talented and witty people.

This year, it is proposed to hold a “Perky Maslenitsa” as a presentation and a kind of announcement of the Russian Maslenitsa Carnival, which will become the basis of all subsequent Maslenitsa celebrations in Moscow, which have every chance of developing into an all-Russian festival of international culture, which will gather the best “teams” representing cities and peoples of Russia.

This scenario plan proposes elements of future Maslenitsa carnivals, which will become traditional this year after the “run-in”.

Space decoration.

On the territory of the Entrance Square of Poklonnaya Gora, in addition to various playgrounds - children's, sports, gaming and shopping, it is proposed to install themed pavilions - tents that will decorate the square and attract spectators:

1 . "Sun Museum"- in which everyone learns how the heavenly body was represented and painted, our ancestors and how it is depicted today in other camps.

2. "Solar letter"- festive Shrovetide mail, where everyone can send a letter from the holiday to their loved ones with old Shrovetide congratulations,

3 . "Oskal painting"- a gallery of emoticons, where visitors can recognize famous characters in emoticons and invent and draw their own,

4 . “Hole.en» - a pavilion for lovers of winter, extreme fun. Bathing in an ice font, sponging with snow.

5. "Old Russian know-how"- a humorous tent, in which samples of Slavic ideas presented to the world are displayed on the stands. From Russian felt boots, to today's fashionable ugg boots, from the ancient Slavic bast shoes, to today's baseball.

6. "VIPTavern "- a tent that hosts interactive culinary quizzes and competitions, pancake baking competitions.

7. "Message to the Sun"- Maslenitsa, humorous "Glasnost Booth", any guest can record his video appeal to the Sun, to the people, to the President, or even to descendants in this pavilion. The best of which will sound from the screens during holiday concert.

8. "Oh, it's not easy, he is Post"- medical pavilion, doctors' advice before fasting. Measurement of basic parameters, recommendations for lean nutrition, etc.

In addition to the decoration of the square, pavilion tents carry a great semantic load, immersing guests in the atmosphere of the holiday and in a light, humorous way, talking about the traditions and origins of the Maslenitsa celebration.

The names and themes of pavilions - tents, are under discussion.

Interactive, thematic platforms.

Between the pavilion tents, on the Entrance Square there will be interactive play and humorous platforms:

"Slavic struggle" - power rides and demonstration performances,

"Demolition of dilapidated housing" - Moscow, thematic towns,

"Bride and groom" - throwing darts and rings, in Old Slavonic, for young couples.

"Oil Painting" - tantamaresques from the works of the Wanderers, the Ascetic Artists, etc.

Game fun and competitions:

"Fool around"

"Kill the goat"

"Shake the old"

"We carry nonsense"

"Pulling the Blanket"

During the holiday concert, BLIN TV special correspondents will report on what is happening on the venues.

Oil rink.

On the opposite side of the stage, on the Entrance Square, there will be a Maslenitsa skating rink, where everyone can the last days ice skating in winter.

Maslenitsa pillar and solar mill.

Also, in addition to the traditional Maslenitsa pillar, it is planned to install an ice mill, the wings of which are replaced by a large, bright yellow sun, divided into thematic rays: joy, happiness, love, etc., on which everyone can stick their wishes (bright stickers). As it fills, the sun will rotate, thus by the end of the program, each beam will be filled with hundreds of small beams.

Central stage.

The center of the square will be the main stage. This year, it is proposed to make ice as the basis for stage decoration. Ice scene, with frozen in it decorative elements, flowers, branches, etc., will become a symbol of the outgoing winter.

At the climax of the program, flowers will bloom on the ice stage, fountains will clog, birds (stilts) will appear, symbolizing the arrival of spring.

One of the design elements of the stage will be LED screens, which will be thematic video sequence. From the screens, the ideological inspirer of the holiday, Mikhail Zadornov, will address the guests on the square in his interactive greeting.

Booklets.

Guests of the Fervent Maslenitsa will be greeted by traditional buffoons and barkers who will distribute specially prepared booklets that tell about the traditions of celebrating Shrovetide among the Slavs, its origins and roots, its unspoken rules and customs. handing elements of festive clothes, kokoshniks, jester's caps, symbolic images of the sun.

Program progress.

During the gathering of guests on the square, background music sounds, the voice of the host invites all the guests of the holiday to take their places by the beginning of the solemn Pancake Day Procession.

Introducing the Shrovetide Carnival in this year's program, it would be logical to open the festive program with the traditional Shrovetide procession, which will pass along the main alley and, appearing in front of the audience, will rise to the stage. All the artists and creative teams participating in the program, a brass band, drummers, life-size puppets, divided into several groups, will take part in the procession. Each group will go under its own playful slogan “Down with winter!”, “Shame on icicles!” etc.

Each group, when passing the stage, is given 1-2 minutes for a humorous greeting of the guests, congratulations on Shrovetide, a short presentation of the team.

The host of the festive concert, Ilona Bronevitskaya, will comment on the passage of the procession.

At the end of the procession, when its participants line up to the left and right of the stage, Mikhail Zadornov will address the guests of the Maslenitsa Carnival from the screens.

M. Zadornov will tell about the origins of the Russian Maslenitsa, about its unwritten rules and laws, and will congratulate all the guests and participants.

The further program will consist of a traditional festive concert, which will be interspersed with staged episodes dedicated to Shrovetide: performances by the Russian Winter fashion theater, with comments by fashion historian A. Vasiliev, demonstration performances in Slavic wrestling, fistfights (association of stuntmen "Master"), interactive quizzes and song contests with the audience.

The following artists will take part in the concert:

Folklore group "Chibatukha"

Ensemble "Razgulyay"

V. Voronina and N. Shishilin,

Hope Krygina,

Vera Beradze,

V. Devyatov and the group "Fair",

creative teams and performers of the Western Administrative District.

The list of artists is under discussion, changes and additions are possible.

At the end of the program, the Hosts of the festive concert will again turn to Mikhail Zadornov on the screen, who will broadcast the cleansing spring fire and, to the song “Burn, burn clearly”, the fire, flying from the stage, through the air, will light the effigy of Maslenitsa, burning all the bad things left in the past year.

Maslenitsa is a wonderful holiday loved by many. He comes at the end of winter, when the cold is about ready to recede, when he timidly looks through the cold February sky through the warm spring sun, when all nature is waiting for the spring revival. Our ancestors rejoiced at the arrival of spring no less than ours, and therefore they passed this cheerful and cheerful holiday to us as a legacy.

So we go out into the street every year, sing songs, eat pancakes, burn a scarecrow, dance round dances, go to visit each other.

Each city celebrates Maslenitsa in its own way. An interesting experience is the small town of Ukrainka, standing on the banks of the Dnieper, 40 km from Kyiv. About 14 thousand people live in the city. Basically - the power engineers of the Tripolskaya GRES and members of their families.

In Ukrainka, the mayor's office announces a competition for the most hospitable and delicious festive table. A little money is allocated from the city budget, flour and other ingredients for pancakes are bought and all this is distributed to the organizers of each yard that wishes to participate in the competition. I must say that in Ukrainka more and more houses are 5 and 9-story, and therefore several hundred people live in the yards. Among them there are definitely activists who cook pancakes and pies, and the residents of the courtyard also bring all kinds of fillings and additives from home - jams, pickles, and, of course, vodka. In colorfully decorated tents on the festive square, representatives of the court treat their neighbors, residents of the city and the jury. Thus, a citywide feast is added to the traditional entertainment program - tasty, fun and ... free.

This idea can be implemented in any small locality, it will decorate the holiday and unite the inhabitants.

In Maslyan's publication in Ukraine. Wall newspaper, decorated with holy Ukrainian mine. Just rozdrukuy were posted for download templates (posters) for the design of wall newspapers, posters, postcards or invitations about Shrovetide in Ukrainian.

Here we will offer posters in Russian. These pictures can be used to make invitations, posters, wall newspapers, decorating a tent with pancakes.

These collages were used to decorate one of the festive tents with refreshments in Ukrainka. Maybe you will need it too.

SHEETS 2.
From this came the saying: "Not life, but carnival." What is the most important thing in Shrovetide? Well, of course, pancakes! Without them, there is no Maslenitsa.

Pancakes and pancakes are baked throughout Maslenitsa.
Housewives baked pancakes every day from buckwheat or wheat flour. On the first day - pancakes, on the second - pancakes, on the third - pancakes, on the fourth - pancakes, on the fifth - pancakes, on the sixth - pancakes, on the seventh - royal pancakes. The pancakes were served with sour cream, jam, butter, honey, fish caviar, eggs.

SHEETS 3.
Damn is not good alone.
Damn, not a wedge, the belly will not split!
How pancakes flew out of the chimney during Shrove Week!
You, my pancakes, my pancakes!
Wide Maslenitsa, we boast of you,
We ride on the mountains, we eat pancakes!

On Shrove Week, ritual pancakes were baked - the personification of the sun; The girls danced and sang songs. The songs talked about the abundance of butter, cheese, cottage cheese. Boys and girls put on their best clothes.

Carnival, farewell!
Come that year!
Shrovetide, come back!
AT New Year show yourself!
Farewell, Shrovetide!
Farewell, red!

SHEETS 4.
The main participant of Maslenitsa is a big one straw doll named Shrovetide. She was dressed up in a dress, a scarf was tied around her head, and her feet were shod in bast shoes.

The doll was seated on a sled and taken up the mountain with songs. And next to the sleigh, the mummers jumped, ran, teased, shouted jokes. Sometimes horses were harnessed to large sledges one after another. Got a train. A young guy got into the sleigh, various rattles and bells were hung on him. Before him put a chest with pies, fish, eggs, pancakes. The train, to the laughter and jokes of fellow villagers, drove through the whole village, and then went to a neighboring village.

The fun continued until the evening, and at the end of all the undertakings they "see off Shrovetide" - they burn an effigy,
depicting Shrovetide.

SHEETS 5.

Each day of Maslenitsa had its own name and its own amusements.

Monday - meeting. They made a doll - Maslenitsa, dressed her up, put her in a sleigh and drove her up the hill.
We greeted her with songs. The first were the children. From that day on, the children rode down the mountains every day.

Tuesday is a win. Children and adults went from house to house, congratulated on Maslenitsa and begged for pancakes. Everyone went to visit each other, sang songs, joked. On this day, games and fun began, girls' swings, horseback riding were arranged.

SHEETS 6.
Wednesday is sweet. Adults began to ride from the mountains. From that day on, they rode around the village on a troika with bells.
Relatives visited each other with families, went to visit with children, enjoyed pancakes and other Shrovetide dishes.

Thursday - wide, roam-four. That day was the most fun.
They organized horse races, fisticuffs and wrestling. They built a snowy town and took it by force. They rode horses around the village. They went down from the mountains on sledges and skis. The mummers amused the people. Everyone ate pancakes. They walked from morning to evening, danced, danced, sang ditties.

Friday - mother-in-law evening. On mother-in-law evenings, sons-in-law treated their mother-in-laws to pancakes. And the girls at noon took out pancakes in a bowl on their heads and went to the hill. The guy who liked the girl was in a hurry to taste a blink to find out if she was a good hostess
will come out.

SHEETS 7.
Saturday - sister-in-law gatherings. On this day, the newlyweds invited their relatives to visit and treated them with treats. There were talks about life and being, put up, if before that they were in a quarrel. Remembered
and deceased relatives, spoke good and kind words about them.

Sunday is a forgiveness day. It was the farewell to Maslenitsa. A bonfire made of straw was laid out in the field and a doll with songs was burned.

The ashes were scattered across the fields in order to reap a rich harvest next year. On Forgiveness Sunday, they went to each other to put up and ask for forgiveness if they offended before. They said, "I'm sorry, please." "God will forgive you," they answered. Then they kissed and did not remember the grievances. But even if there were no quarrels and insults, they still said: "Forgive me." Even when they met a stranger, they asked his forgiveness. Thus ended Maslenitsa.
