Bat - voluminous paper craft

It is very easy to make volumetric bats from colored paper. Plus, it won't take long. You don't even need glue for this craft.

The finished craft can be put on a shelf, hung on a chandelier, or you can make a children's craft for Halloween - a mobile of several bats.

How to make a volumetric bat - paper craft

To make a three-dimensional bat, you just need to print the template on double-sided dark or gray colored paper, cut out the paper figure (pattern, scan) along the solid lines and bend it along the dotted lines.

On the head and back of the mouse, make the folds inward, and bend the wings and ears outward.

Iron the folds well. Draw or glue eyes.

That's all, the craft is ready.

Template (pattern) of voluminous paper crafts "bat"

To make a paper bat, you can use not only colored paper, but also junk material, for example, the cover of an old notebook.

The site where I found templates for this craft and a similar bunny more than 10 years ago does not exist now. If I'm not mistaken, the source of this idea is the CD "Making toys with designer Podelkin. Issue 2". The template is small, for printing it needs to be enlarged or redrawn in the desired size.

Making this paper craft is just like making (Halloween craft using the symmetrical cutout technique) to help preschoolers and younger students practice using scissors.

A paper bat is a wonderful Halloween design element for an apartment, classroom, or any other room. Like others, it is easy to make, even the smallest children can do it, but it looks very impressive.

Children at any age - from toddlers to teenagers - are crazy about, because on this day the boundaries between real and fictional disappear by themselves, the heroes of the scariest cartoons and movies come to life, which means you can have plenty of fun with friends.

Bats are indispensable, they symbolize night, darkness, are associated with vampires, Count Dracula, gloomy caves and impregnable castles. Only one bat on the wall of the room will turn it into a real resident evil...

To create an unusual night monster you will need:

  • two disposable paper plates;
  • stapler or tool for clamping decorative carnations;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • black bright paint, ink or spray can for painting metal or wood;
  • marker;
  • a piece of red velvet cardboard or velvet self-adhesive paper.

Let's get to work.

Turn the plate upside down. We draw an imaginary center line and on both sides of it we draw waves resembling the wings of a seagull - from the center of the plate in an arc to its edge and the same on the other side. It will turn out one line-arc to the right and left of the center line.

Cut the plate along these lines. You get two bat wings.

Create a little body: on one edge of the plate, draw the contours of the mouse ears along the edge, cut off the excess part.

Color the body and wings black. It's very easy to do this using spray paint; you need to work with it carefully, in a well-ventilated room, and preferably on a balcony or street.

From the extra pieces of the plate we cut out eyebrows (sticks), eyes (ovals) and two triangular teeth. Draw the pupils inside the eyes with a black marker.

From red cardboard we cut out a thin mouth (in the form of an arc) and a drop of blood - a small terrifying stroke.

We lay out the details of the face on the convex part of the plate, which we made the body of the bat. Under one of the fangs we fix a drop of blood. Glue them well with glue.

We attach the wings with carnations, paper clips or a stapler.

The Bat Model is a simple origami model for toddlers. Even preschoolers can handle this craft. Although, it should be said that the work was not done in the classic origami manner. After all, in the manufacture of the mouse, we use scissors. Take a fairly large square of paper for crafts. For preschoolers no less than 15x15 cm.
You can make paper bats with older children, up to adolescence. This simple origami model will serve as a wonderful element of decoration for the Halloween holiday, which is becoming popular in our country. Mice can be made very quickly, in different sizes and placed on the walls by attaching them with pieces of adhesive tape. But it is especially effective to hang on threads from a lamp or ceiling, or to assemble a suspension module from figurines. You can also make the manufacture of such origami crafts part of the holiday. It will be a kind of "fee" or entrance ticket. Everyone places their bat on the wall - that's the decoration. And after the holiday, the crafts can be taken home - as a keepsake.

Bat - origami for kids is ready.

On the night of October 31 to November 1, the entire English-speaking world will celebrate the ancient Celtic holiday Halloween.

Today we are going to prepare our house for Halloween. Let's start with bats. Making them is not at all difficult, so do not forget to involve the children in this activity.

Popular in the West, the holiday is rapidly gaining momentum in the countries of the former USSR.

According to this night, the gates between the two worlds - the living and the dead - opened. In order not to become the prey of a dead force, our ancestors dressed up as animals, putting on their skins, turned off the lights in their houses, and put treats on the porch outside the door as a ransom for evil spirits. On this night, it was customary to engage in fortune-telling.

Today, Halloween has become a fun holiday. In many clubs, theme parties are held with dressing up, jokes, games, designed to laugh at evil spirits and night terrors.

The traditional colors of this holiday are black and orange.
Main symbol - jack o lantern, which is a pumpkin with a carved scary face and a lit candle inside. How to carve a pumpkin for Halloween read .
Additional attributes of the holiday are spiders, bats, ghosts, witches and all evil spirits.

Today we are going to prepare for Halloween. Let's start with bats. Making them is not at all difficult, so do not forget to involve the children in this activity.

To make bats with our own hands, we the following materials are needed:

Black double-sided paper;
- scissors;
- white pencil;
- glue;
- ready-made running eyes;
- colored paper.

Depending on the density of the paper and the size of the mouse, they can be used not only in decor, but also filled with sweets or prepared a whole bunch of mice on sticks for a gift, to make a decoration for a pen or pencil.

On black paper, using a compass or other improvised means such as a plate or saucer, draw two circles.

Cut them out, fold them in half and cut them. We will need only three halves to make a mouse.

We take one half of the circle, turn it with the rounded side towards us. We bend it in half, and make two more folds, as shown in the photo, so that in the end the letter V is obtained from the folds.

We bend the sides of the semicircle along the fold lines and glue them together (do not glue the pocket).

From the remaining two halves, cut out the wings. To do this, we put two blanks together, apply a pattern and cut it out together. Glue the finished wings to the body.

Well, now we are making a muzzle for a bat. In our case, we used ready-made eyes and colored paper. You can also use markers, paints, etc.

The paper bat is ready and not alone, admire this family.
